Service was not good. The burger I ordered sat on the food window from the kitchen for 25 minutes before it was delivered to our table. It was edible but not good. My drink was empty prior to me finishing less than half my meal. Received a refill after finishing my food. Manager never left his spot behind the counter or seemed to manage anything. Paid bill with manager who asked«How are you?» Not how was everything? He already knew my reply would not be positive. Not sure how they stay in business. Won’t be returning and would not recommend to anyone.

Like always terrible service. No sure why I keep giving them another chance other then them being close to home. Still takes forever to get your food even though there’s hardly anyone there. The food quality improved slightly but I wouldn’t go out of my way to rush in here.

Bob Evans for me is always a solid three stars. The food is OK — it’s not overly fresh or homemade, but that’s not what I’m expecting either. It’s a step up from Denny’s, but a small one.

I go here pretty often with my mom, and I hadn’t had it in years prior to that. I remembered the food just being, OK back then so I just forgot about coming here. Well, my mom goes pretty often for breakfast, and when she invited me along I decided to try it again. Every time we have gone, the staff have been pretty pleasant and fast. The food, way better than I remember it and I actually enjoy going here now. They have these cinnamon blossoms now and OMG, I think I could eat all of them in one sitting. YUM! They have 3 types now with apple, cherry or plain cinnamon and I can attest that all of them are delicious. They microwave them for a few seconds and they just melt in your mouth! The other stuff is your typical breakfast menu and it’s all pretty yummy. I went for dinner recently too, and I was even more impressed. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans and it was fantastic! I am super picky about my chicken but theirs was made just right, and Bob Evans has moved up the ranks to places I’d actually choose to go myself now. I’ve never gone on a weekend so the wait for us has been little to none each time. I’ll definitely be back in the near future for some cinnamon blossoms… mmmmm… Oh and the hot chocolate is also delicious!

I’ve been to this place several times, mostly with my family, since the kids like the place and it’s close to their house. On every occasion I’ve experienced horrible service. If it’s not cold food, it was during the winter and had cold air blowing on us the entire time, even after complaining twice. I don’t normally complain about bad service, at least not at the place of business. I usually wait until later and then don’t return. I will say that they credited the food when it was wrong or cold, however. But by the time it was brought out, everyone else in the group had already finished. I used to eat at Bob Evan’s a lot as a child and don’t remember having had consistently bad service as I have had recently. I even still buy Bob Evans sausage in the grocery store, so it’s not the food itself, it’s the preperation and service quality that’s horrible.

The food is tasty. But having been in the kitchen on numerous occasions I am here to warn you — EATATYOUROWNRISK — I worked in the restaurant business long enough to know what a bad kitchen looks like. With that being said I still eat here because I live on the edge.

Our server, Helen, is fantastic! She disn’t miss a thing. We only had the oatmeal but it was really good with all the raisins, cranberries and cinnamon. Everyone is sweet. Very clean. Music wasn’t too loud and easy going while you eat.
