Just had the most delicious chicken, spinach& cheese calzone w/Alfredo sauce on the side. Kids devoured a lg cheese pizza & the man said that his sub was particularly satisfying. Another wonderful meal from Ham House. Thank you Chris & staff for the delicious food & your friendliness!

Myself and eight other friends were seeing a show nearby, and randomly picked this place from Googling around. They are not a typical sit down type restaurant, but since we called ahead to warn them of our arrival the actually reserved us some tables all together! Very nice of them! We were in a hurry too, as we had about 30 – 40 minutes to eat before the show started and were a little worried about time. But the food came out super fast, hot and delicious. The buffalo chicken calzone was the best I have ever had anywhere! No hyperbole! Everyone else was raving about their food afterwards as well! Kudos to HHoP! They run a tight ship! I wish I lived closer by so I could eat there more often!

So happy we ran into this place when we did. Came in starving and Hamilton House of Zaa delivered. Tasty greek style pizza with a generous portion of toppings left me in a pizza bliss I have yet to come out of since I ate there last month.

Well, I just had some cheese pizza from here and it was very good. Not greasy. Nice and cheesy like it used to be. I tried them last week for a steak and cheese sub which they put in the oven to crisp it and melt the cheese for me. That sub reminded me of how subs were when the owner I knew for 20 years(Steve?) ran the place. So happy. It’s nice to be able to return to Hamilton House of Pizza. I stayed away after Steve sold it. The guy who bought it wasn’t good. He just messed it up, but he’s gone now and the present owners are doing a great job.

Been here twice. Both times the pizza was greasy, too much cheese and tasteless. The people are friendly but that’s it.

I’ve had my share of pizza as a traveling technician. Always eating road food. This place is simple pizza joint that is very clean, seriously managed, and good food. I had a simple cheese pizza. Twice in a row. Not to greasy, and the sauce was good and we’ll proportioned. Tons of cheese. I’m glad their here.

By far the best pizza on the North Shore. I seriously would give it six stars if I could. But there’s more than just pizza(gluten-free also). The subs are huge and so is the variety: at least three dozen. I’d say their biggest claim to fame is that each sub is REALLYFRESH: everything is made that same day. They’ll make them any way you wish with no problem. Eating healthy? Salads are mondo size, too. Seriously, portions here are legendary. I used to think I was a favoured client, until I saw a kid there the other day devouring a sub almost the size of his head. Artery alert: the pasta dishes and fries are beyond enormous. Lunch and dinner combined, and you’ll still have some left over. Occasionally the owner Chris and his wife Giota come out with some superlative Greek dish not on the menu that never disappoints. Their homemade cheese, oils and desserts rock. And Chris… OMG…“insanely funny” does not even begin to describe the guy.

Love the food here. Funny guys, you have to be a little tough inside but they are good. Pizza is delicious, portions are always huge. Well worth it! Good ol’ american treat right in Hamilton.

What are these other people talking about? Have you ever had pizza before? The pizza is GROSS you could oil a car with the amount of grease coming off of it! The dough tasted like it was frozen, the cheese had no flavor, it was just yucky all around. The old man behind the counter is rude, even was 20 year ago when I was a kid, he acted like I was bothering him when I picked up my food. I hadn’t eaten pizza from them in 20+ years and it will be more than that before I do again!

4 stars. Excellent interpretation of North Shore ‘Greek’ pizza. Thick crust, lots of sauce, not a lot of cheese. I grew up on this from Captain’s in Swampscott and this is the closest to that in the Beverly area. Large size was more like a medium but that seems standard for this area. Wait until a Sal’s moves in…

Great pizza. Had the Margareta and Chicken Pesto. The staff is great! Thin crust, perfectly salty… Cheap beverages, plenty of parking.

I work around the corner from this place and I get pizza cravings almost as much as i get burger cravings(I promise I also like some healthy foods). I tend to like very specific things in pizza, so flexibility is not my great pizza strength. Pros: — Delicious delicious pizza. They make it with a very thick crust, dripping with cheese, and sauce not-too-sweet. They told me once that this was Greek-style rather than Italian style(most pizza places seem to be Italian-style around here and I guess I vastly prefer Greek-style). Honestly, it’s my ideal pizza. — Delicious delicious subs. Very big and very customizable. Not going to revolutionize the sub world, but hearty and yummy. — The staff is friendly and takes a certain amount of pride in their food. — Great prices for the food. — Fast turnaround time. — Salads are big and the veggie always seem pretty fresh. Definitely not their strong suit, but not a liability either. Cons: — One caveat on the pizza: for sausage, they use thin little slices of sausage, more like pepperoni slices. It’s not my favorite. But I just stay away from it, no problem. I way prefer pepperoni pizza anyways(and theirs is excellent). — The interior is cheap. Plastic benches and tables, one TV, neon sub-shop sign. But it’s clean and it’s mostly a take-out place anyways and the pizza way outweighs the interior of the shop for me. — Dressing for the salads is measly and they will charge you for more. I’ve really only found one other pizza place that I consistently order from(Luigi’s, in Beverly). But Hamilton House of Pizza is my top choice, bar none. I crave their pepperoni pizzas way too often to be good for me. They do the two things a pizza place should do exceptionally well: they make ‘em fast and they make ‘em good.

This is the go-to place for traditional pizza in town. The service is excellent, friendly, and helpful. The food is almost always excellent. Subs, salads, sandwiches, and fried foods are all good. Rarely, maybe one time out of 50, you can get a somewhat greasy pizza(usually when someone new is being trained). Deliveries are fast too.

I’ve first discovered Hamilton House in 1991. Love the Pizza and the subs are easily one of the best on the entire North Shore! The best attribute is the freshness of the product. Steve runs a very nice place in this little town!!!

I would say it’s more than a standard pizza shop. These are guys who love providing their service. I just moved to this area a couple months ago and have been going about once a week. Every time they recognize me and suggest another thing for me to try. Each thing has been fantastic. So far I have really enjoyed: Pepperoni Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Sub, Steak & Cheese, and a Meat Calzone. The calzone was amazing. Absolutely incredible. It was also huge, and I only got a half. A full could satisfy 4 people. Treason I didn’t give this 5 stars was because I feel like it is a little bit pricey, but that is coming from a seminary student with no money. So, I bet it is affordable for your average working person. When I pick up a meal there I usually get a drink and some chips and usually end up spending $ 10⁄11. This will always be my suggestion for a pizza night, and I suggest it to you as well.

Great little pizza shop in Hamilton Center on Railroad Ave. Always greeted with a friendly smile. Hamilton House has a decent pizza, steak & cheese, roast beef sub, BLT, chicken fingers, tuna salad. Best of all is their chicken kabob sub or salad. mmmm good stuff!

Just a standard pizza and sub shop, but the food is fine and the people are friendly. As a vegetarian, I appreciate their meatless subs.
