This is a very clean Kroger with a large selection of organic produce. The parking lot is very rarely busy. Inside the store, at least on my visits, have well-staffed check out lanes so there’s rarely any long wait in line. Sometimes there are free samples around the produce section and dry groceries. There’s a Kroger-branded gas station for you to use your fuel points. The only very minor complaint I have about this place is that if you exit through the north exit, there’s no left turn, which makes it a hassle. But then again, I’m kind of fickle like that since this Kroger is on my way to work, therefore I have to keep doubling back south before going back up north. Getting old… getting old… and grumpy.

Okay, I want to say, No… I NEED to say that the customer service here sucks so so so much, like, SO much! Idk wtf is wrong with the employees here, but on several occasions I’ve experienced either very odd interactions with the cashiers, or very unpleasant conversations«over-heard» from baggers and cashiers… or both. First, there are employees standing everywhere… and when you try to push your cart through all of them in attempt to actually grocery shop at their grocery store… they scoff and give you dirty looks, or laugh and make aside jokes about you with the other employees while you can still hear them. Actually, last time I went there, I stopped my cart for an employee walking in front of me and he motioned for me to go and I said«thanks» to which he replied, «no problem, other people usually don’t even stop.» Like, I really don’t need to hear your complaints about the customers… because I’m a customer, lol. On more than one occasion, I’ve had a male cashier who thought he was pretty frickin funny, but in reality, he’s not, he’s just awkward. Every time I find my self unfortunately in his line, he teases me and mocks me… no! You don’t do that to customers who you DONOTKNOW and are just minding their own business trying to get the hell out of the store and go home. He’s rude, makes stupid inappropriate comments, and makes me feel absolutely uncomfortable. And no, he’s not just trying to be nice and friendly. His tone of voice and the fact that he always has like 3 friends hanging around him laughing at me too coupled with the things he says is just completely unnecessary. I don’t know this frickin dude. Last time, he looked at me and my dad as we were walking up and clearly interrupting his bro time with his bros, and said«Oh no! Don’t come here.» Like, really? And I was confused and thought the lane was closed, bit when I asked they all just laughed like hyenas. Then he proceeded to ask me what everything I was buying was and bring attention to me in front of his buds. He was ringing out my produce and says, «I don’t even know what this is.» Like, it’s your job to know what things in your store are… holy crap. Anywho, I will not tolerate being degraded and mocked by him in front of his friends anymore. Next time I’m asking for his manager. Then, there was this time that I was with my boyfriend and he experienced the same nonsense that I did, so it’s not just me. We were checking out… once again! Shenanigans in the Kroger checkout line… and there was this little grouchy frowny girl bagging who just could not shut up about how horrible and stupid all of the customers there were. Seriously. Loud and clear for everyone to hear, right in the checkout lane. She was talking scoffing and rolling her eyes talking about a woman who asked her where she could get a cart… like that isn’t innocent enough or anything. Apparently the carts were all parked in a line outside the door, like out in the rain in the middle of the night, and this girl found it completely annoying and dumb that someone would have the nerve to ask her a question and said, «Like she couodnt find the carts I put right there. theyre right there! Duh!» Then she proceeded to talk to the cashier about the boy she was meeting tonight and how he was so dark, just like her. What? Lol. Not stuff I need to be hearing. Save it for the break room. So anyways, the staff here is awful. Kroger on the west side of Hamilton, you need to step it up and clean some house and learn to reprimand your out of control employees! I’ll keep making complaints until something is done. Basically, they get two stars for being a grocery store that I unfortunately frequent because they are one of the three grocery store options in my area… and because their produce is better than Walmart’s up the hill… which isn’t saying much.

I guess this Krogers serves its purpose, but I was not impressed with their produce selection. I’m used to shopping in a larger city & was surprised to find many of the items I buy at my local grocery store were not available here. I can understand leeks(non-organic) being unavailable, but snow peas? That’s a pretty normal food in my opinion.

I went to this Kroger yesterday because they were one of the few filling stations to maintain a low price in the afternoon. They were at $ 3.679 for regular while other stations had already gone to $ 3.959. It was a bit chaotic but the pumps worked without a problem. It’s a shame the self-service checkouts inside the store aren’t as trouble free.
