Great pizza. Kind of strange inside. Seating is long picnic style tables that people have carved into over the years. They have a cozy pellet stove in the winter time. Always have cartoons or a movie on their giant tv for the kids. I don’t recommend the wings. They’re small, mushy, and weird. But their pizza and tater tots are awesome. PS. They serve beer and wine slushies.

Love the Pub. Probably my favorite pizza place around. The pizza has a kind of cornmeal crust of sorts… yummy! The taters are perfection! Wings are really yummy, but not a good value as the size is small. The atmosphere is dark and cozy, a definite college atmosphere. I love chillin by the wood stove in the winter.

Taters taters taters… They are the best around. And the ranch is so good! Not a fan of the square cut slices, but it all tastes the same in the end.

Do not use Unilocal maps to find this place. The address as listed is correct. Yet we could not find the pizzeria using Unilocal maps. The map took us to a residential area. Use another map app to locate it at 2528 New York 12B, Hamilton, NY13346

This place is different than your normal pizza place. The pizza is great but different being a breaded thin crust. The blue cheese is different being more of a ranch blue cheese. Don’t go on a Friday or Saturday night when Colgate kids are in town or know that you are going to have to wait.

Their pizza is SOOOAMAZINGANDTHEBEST ranch I’ve ever had! Literally mouth watering. And the tators are soooo delicious. Every time I come here I gain about ten pounds.

Must be popular with the locals but for me it wasn’t so great. Pizza was just OK… wings super soggy and not great. You wait on yourself, serve yourself, no free refills on soda. Dark like a cave inside. People taking your order are young and would rather be cruising town than taking your order. Lastly what pizza place doesn’t offer garlic bread???

Not a fan of the pizza or the environment of Pizza Pub but the wings are killer good.

Not sure what the deal is with this place. I suppose it has its loyalists but I think it’s really bad. The pizza has an almost bread-like crust and the wings didn’t look great. It also takes a while to get your food. Just go to slices.

We heard the wings were really good here but they are not. They tasted like KFC chicken with more grease and a little buffalo wing sauce. They said their Taters were great but once again, whole lotta grease and little taste. This is a really kid friendly space. They play cartoons on a big screen and the have picnic benches for tables. The beer is really cheap and the only saving grace is a little thing called Wine Slushies. Heaven in a cup. But with bad wings I can’t give it any more stars. The pizza might be good but I didn’t have it. Saw a few pies and it didn’t look special. They also do not open until 4pm on Saturdays. Not sure if it is different on other days but it was surprise to us. Did i mention the crying babies? Don’t forget that bit of ambiance. But I have to reiterate. Wine Slushies are fantastic!

One word: Taters. Go there now. These taters are the best thing ever. They taste like they have the flavor of KFC chicken on the potatoes. Pizza’s pretty good, but I’ve had better. A little dark inside, but the ambiance is all part of the package. Sometimes the volume on the cartoons is a bit too high, especially when there’s no one in there. But all of that doesn’t matter. All that matters is TATERS. Update: get the wings too. Dip them in the amazing blue cheese. And then dip your taters in blue cheese. You will feel like this must be heaven.

The appearance and ambiance would definitely scare a lot of people away, as it’s a bit dank and dark with nothing to entice a random passerby. To combat that, the Pub has some of the tastiest food you’ll ever consume. It’s hard to say what makes the pizza so delicious, but it’s the best I’ve ever had. It’s got a lot of cheese with not too much sauce, and can be a tiny bit greasy. The best way to eat it is with no toppings, or if you simply must have one, with pepperoni. The wings have the same level of inexplicable deliciousness, as they are very small compared to most other wings, but pack a great taste. The meat is so tender that it nearly falls off the bone. The beer is cheap, but they serve it in small glasses or in plastic cups, which can be a little off-putting. The décor is perfect for the restaurant. It seems a bit dirty, and the TV and arcade games are about 20 years behind the times. The long picnic tables are covered in carvings of past diner’s names and the seating is only on benches. As much as it may sound like a horrible place to dine, it works perfectly. There is nothing to distract from the wonderful flavors and aromas. Make sure you don’t eat for around 12 hours before arrival. You’re going to want the maximum amount of space in your stomach for this meal.

I grew up in Waterville and have fond memories of pizza and kiddie cones at the Pizza Pub with my great grandma eating the hottest wings known to man kind. Went this past July, was a little dissapointed. First of all, they were serving beer, they were trying to avoid drunken problems with a local event that was happening nearby that has caused problems in the past. Not their fault, we all understood completely! The hot wings were pretty salty, we still have a running joke about it 8 months later… Pizza was good as always, not mind blowing, but definitely good New York pizza that I miss living out here in SoCal. Atmosphere was as I always remembered, friendly people, cartoons on the giant screen for kids and loooong tables with looooong benches. I will always have a place in my heart for Ye Olde Pizza Pub!

I’m really not sure what it is about the pub that makes it so delicious. In comparison to high quality wood fired pie, the za at the pub is — for lack of a better term — strange. But damn is it good! Here is a little insider knowledge — pub pizza should NEVER be ordered with toppings. Toppings of any kind will ruin the delicate balance of extreme deliciousness(and this is coming from someone who usually really likes a few toppings). If you must have accouterment, go for taters and wings on the side. And don’t forget an extra order of blue cheese dressing for dipping, which I am pretty certain contains crack. One more recommendation. Plan on getting some exercise the next day, you are going to need it.

Best wings anywhere. Period. And the taters are legendary. The pizza is good as well, but you should come for the wings and taters.

I have to admit, I’m not actually a very big fan of pizza– which turns out to be a bit of a liability, in a town in which 80% of the restaurants are pizza joints! We’d tried the other local places(Oliveri’s, Slices, VJ’s). Each of these experiences reminded me that I just don’t like pizza very much, and I couldn’t really see my way clear to eating a second piece of pizza from them. So, going out to Ye Olde Pizza Pub had never really been high on the list. There are only so many other places to go in Hamilton, though, so we finally made it out there– what a surprise! We thought it was much better pizza than any of the others, tastier sauce and toppings, better crust. For sure it’s a no-frills place, with big bench tables, where you order pitchers of beer and mountains of pizza or wings to be consumed mead-hall style(though I’m not sure I’d actually recommend tossing your chicken bones or pizza crusts over your shoulder) Pizza still isn’t exactly high on my list of priorities, but seeing as it’s more or less inevitable in Hamilton, I’d definitely choose the Pizza Pub over any of the other options.
