Personally I didn’t care for the ribs or the sauce. Way too expensive for the level of food that you receive. I will go to Chicago for some good bbq.

Hit or Miss those are the choices dealt to you after eating at this place multiple times.
Sometimes they knock it out of the park
Sometimes you don’t even feel like you’re not in the game…
And that’s a shame for a guy who is a local success story.
The real kick in the teeth is that you can go anytime to the other location in Gary and the food is perfect every time.
If they are going to over-​charge ($ 20.00) for a slab of ribs; they should at least make sure the product is high quality, consistently.
The only reason it got a 2^nd star is because sometimes the food was good.
But when I can buy a 6 lb slab of ribs for less than what they charge and its better?
There is no reason to ever go back there again…
The management should keep in mind; not only are they competing with other restaurants in the area,. but they are also competing against grocery stores and their affordable prices.
My advice?
If you wanna gamble go to the boats…

Worst BBQ we’ve ever had:(Stopped in on our way out West based on Unilocal reviews. Ordered pulled pork & beef brisket sandwiches… meat was fatty & suspect. Sandwiches came w/​soggy fries drenched in BBQ sauce. All around epic fail. Highlight: woman taking orders was delightful;)

Poor to Mediocre, got large ribtips and hotlinks, $ 14.55, tips were cut into tiny little pieces, meat was tuff, very disappointing… went on a sunday evening, maybe that explains it??? Overpriced, and under served… not going back…

BEST RIBS IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME.
one of my coworkers told me about this place and i just so happened to swing by on my lunch break. i ordered the regular ribtips with fries. i got in the car and proceeded to leave while taking the first bite of the rib and OMG i knew i was in heaven it was as if ive never ate ribs before. i approched a stop light and just started eating my french fries that was smothered in bbq sauce while licking my fingers. as the stoplight turned green i was still there telling people to wait a second i could not help but to eat more. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes BBQ.
