Holy smokes. Where to begin? Ok, first off, we asked for three waters; 15 minutes later, i have to ask the hostess for the missing drinks. Next, our server starts cussing out the table next to us. She actually follows them out to the parking lot, and nearly fights them.(They were horrible customers, but still…) The food was alright, standard chinese fare. However, the plates began to pile up on the table. Like i had to stack the dirty plates and put them on another table. Server never came to get them, or refill drinks until we were ready to leave. This was on a weeknight, and they were only two other occupied tables. The place smelled horrible too. This was seriously the worst dining experience ive ever had, and ive had quiet a few(im fat). The customer service was abysmal. This place used to be decent, but it has turned to a complete shit-hole. Bottom line: if you want good chinese food, go to china lotus or trey yuen. If you want to stuff your face with cheap, salty, calorie-filled buffet crap, skip this place and to one of the other two places. At least there, there is a such thing as customer service.

First visit, first plate of food, liked nothing. Everything was cold and soggy. Management told me I had to pay because there’s «no free meals» when I tried to get them to take it off our bill. Never going back. I usually give second chances on restaurants because everyone has an off day. Not this time.

First time visiting here. Me and the wife arrived at 1 pm on a Sunday. We were pleased by the openness and variety but once we sat down with our food our tune changed. A lot of it seemed as if it had been sitting out for a bit. They weren’t super busy, but busy enough that the food should be fresh. I normally go to town on a buffet but I barely finished my one plate. I felt bad leaving that much food on my plate but I couldn’t make myself eat it. Others have left good reviews so maybe we hit it on a bad day. Might try it again but who knows.

My husband and I had the $ 10 take out buffet boxes and two large soups. The food was the best take out food in this area as far as I am concerned and I have eaten at every Chinese restaurant in town at least once. I took away one star because their boxes are smaller than other restaurants’ boxes that charge by weight and I was not overly fond of the egg rolls. However, everything else was delicious. The soup container was large but you are charged extra for it. The wonton soup was worth the extra cost. The buffet selection was better than most and the food was still hot by the time we got it home. We will go back again soon.

Superb food is an understatement! Their buffet is chock full of traditional style pork, chicken and beef dishes, as well as a very appealing raw food and salad bar. They of course have many options for kids that aren’t quite up for cracking open a crab leg or eating sushi yet. The sushi of course is an amazing find compared to the other local places that sell sushi at ridiculous prices and with half the friendly service. I do have to say I’m a bit disappointed with the dessert options. I’m always up for a scoop of mint chocolate chip, but I’d like to see more than jello and mass produced cake bites.

I went here with the family with much anticipation. I loved the College Drive location in Baton Rouge in college, so 7 years later, it couldn’t be any different, right? Well things have changed. Their sushi looks more sophisticated than when they first added it back those years ago. Still don’t know if I trust buffet sushi. My mom ate some and seemed to survive though! They have boiled crawfish, shrimp and crab legs on the buffet, which isn’t a bad deal! Lastly, they’ve got chicken, pork and beef in all of the traditional Chinese buffet styles, so you won’t be left wanting! In the end, it is a reasonably priced buffet for the selection. That is certainly what I remember from college! I guess after acquiring different eating habits, this place looks A-OK for a once-in-a-while Chinese buffet splurge! Last note, their manager Winnie is super friendly and did a great job accommodating a large group that my mother brought in a few weeks earlier. They are friendly and extremely helpful!
