Hungry Howie’s Pizza

I’m never into trying new things but tonight I tried the Howie Rolls and they just melted in my mouth! Besides the wings I’m definitely picking up the Howie Roll from now on!!!

I’m not from Hammond & was looking for a good pizza place other than your every day Pizza Hut or papa johns. A friend recommended hunger howies and I was not disappointed. Everything about it was awesome! Great staff! Amazing food. Will definitely go back.

Really good pizza! I tried Howie’s last winter when I was up in Michigan and was pleased when I found there is one here in Hammond.
They have a lot to offer. Besides pizza you can get several variations of bread, calzones, wings, salads, and what they call Howie Rolls which is like a rolled up calzone with dipping sauce.
With the pizza comes flavored crust. I get the garlic herb which is delicious. You can also get butter, asiago cheese, cajun, butter cheese, sesame, ranch and onion!
You can get any of these lunch combos for just $ 5.
Junior Pepperoni Pizza and 20 oz Drink
Regular Garden Salad and 20 oz Drink
Small Calzone and 20 oz Drink
Any Two Howie Rolls
One Small Two Topping Pizza
Not bad!
The only complaint is that both times I have been here I stood at the counter
for a good 7 or 8 minutes while the employees either stared at me or flat ignored me. This last time after standing there waiting a girl finally came to the front and apologized for my wait saying she was in the middle of an email. lol An email? Really?
Great Pizza, Not so great service at this location.
