Very good place. Habachi chicken no over sauced and fried rice was spot on. The sauces were very good also. Veggies were cooked well and done just right. Sushi typical but fresh!

Some of the reviews are pretty funny, but I suppose sushi isn’t a big thing around here yet. Complimentary miso soup was great. The soup settles, so you’ll need to mix the contents before eating. My partner ordered the tuna roll and the eel bowl, which came with a salad. The tuna roll was good, but the salad was drenched in ginger dressing. A third of the amount given would have been sufficient. I ordered the pink lady roll. The description contained the word«fried» and since I’ve previously enjoyed a fried oyster roll elsewhere where the oysters were fried, I assumed the crawfish might be fried in this case. Instead, the entire roll was fried. The first bite was fine. But after eating a third piece, I began to feel sick due to the greasiness. I like the ingredients: snow crab, avocado, and crawfish. However, I dislike the fact the entire roll was fried. This roll was a miss unfortunately. I would like to try other things on the menu in the future. Service was fast for us.

Customer service was great and food was even better! Service staff were very helpful and funny, often making jokes with us and promptly refilling our drinks. We ordered hibachi and the cook was a little boring(you could tell he was tired) but still tried to keep us entertained. Please be sure to deny the soup that you get when you first sit down for hibachi! It is absolutely disgusting and I can’t even place a name on the taste but it was extremely unappetizing. One spoonful was enough to almost make me leave. An interesting point is that if you would let the soup sit for too long, it would begin to form layers, and the top layer was very thick and watery! Not sure what soup this was but I do not recommend you eat it! The salad was very good, although there was a little too much«seafood sauce» on it. I ordered the chicken hibachi which was very good and was cooked in good time. My favorite part was the rice and eggs; it was perfectly seasoned and was very delicious, I highly recommend! The veggies and chicken were also very good, and I don’t even like vegetables all that well. We even had one of the waitresses take our picture outside and she was very helpful and did not complain at all. Very satisfied with this service and would recommend to others.

Always a good choice for lunch or dinner. I enjoy the sushi here. Service was average. Food was great. My wife tried the pink lady roll. She liked it and I did too.

Expect your order to be wrong every time and the slowest service available. Also any one foreign won’t be able to translate your order. I’ll never go there again!

Second visit. Tried a different sushi and was happy both times. Snow mountain, Crunchy, Rock n Roll, and pink lady were all great to eat. We also got a side of rice. There fried rice is delicious. Only thing I didn’t like is the complimentary soup. Taste like dish water. Staff is friendly and service was quick.

This place reminds me of a cheap diner trying too hard to be fancy. The tint on the windows was obviously a do-it-yourself job complete with bubbles and crooked lines, the booth seats were flat, booth backs were missing buttons, and there were actually names carved into the tables. The food took forever to get to us and, for the first time ever in a Japanese restaurant, there was no salad or miso soup. The food itself was okay. I hated the tofu steak. It was fried soft tofu(huh?) with a tasteless sauce. The sushi was not the best I’ve ever had but also not memorable in the least. I was never offered a refill on my water so I left a little thirsty. Needless to say, I will not be dining here again.

Food was good. Menu said Chicken terrioki(#28) was over vegetables but was only over onions. I had the grilled tuna. It was great!

Never eat the habashi. I thought would be the same of o Nagoya Baton Rouge, not even close. Sushi is alright, price is good

The food here is delicious. Okay, let me rephrase that. The sushi here is delicious. My boyfriend had the teriyaki steak entrée and wasn’t too pleased, but it is definitely worth a visit for the sushi! The staff is friendly and attentive enough and the inside is pretty. Plus it is located in Hammond Square which is a nice area for dates.

The service here is absolutely terrible. My order is always wrong. I admit the food is good but I never get a refill on my drinks and the staff is rude. I only come here because my family enjoys it.

I LOVE Nagoya. I would rather drive to Hammond to eat hibachi than drive into Baton Rouge. Their hibachi beats any I’ve had in the Baton Rouge area. You MUST try the filet. It is the tastiest I have had from any Japanese restaurant ever. No need to smother it in sauce either.

Hibachi is just ok… we always return because the kids love the performance.

Good food, lousy performance for hibachi, got one refill on my water, and charged gratuity for 6 but one of my party was a two year old that did not eat!

Great place! Wonderful food, kind staff, clean and quiet place. The family and I go there often even though we have to drive 45 minutes to get there!
