A guy named«Chris» who calls himself the«manager» is the rudest thing ever. That is all folks.

Perhaps it was a bad day? Waitress was polite and efficient! Place looks great love it and the location. Chicken noodle soup. Ok lots of pasta. French dip. Ok roll was not toasted and fries were old. Overall underwhelmed.

This place is awesome! It deserves no less than 5 stars! I had the roasted turkey blue plate special with fresh roasted turkey and homemade stuffing, delicious, phenomenal… Hubby had a delicious steak topped with crab and tender asparagus. Portions were generous. Service was awesome. Everything was clean. The place was packed. We even took two slices of pie home for dessert later on because we were so stuffed. Try it, you won’t be sorry.

This was an interesting spot. The seating was prompt and the waitress was friendly, however know what you want when you are ordering. The waitress was slightly snippy when asked to wait. My breakfast quesadilla was delicious, the country omelette was good. The prices were reasonable with the amount of food, so come hungry.

Food: good. About 8 of us there. Orders included motz sticks, zucchini sticks, fries, chicken tenders, turkey club, buffalo chicken wrap, patty melt, soup, milk shakes. No one had any complaints. Some portions were very large and some normal. Service: room for improvement. Our waitress was nice, but a bit slow and initially forgot more than one item. I assume she was new. Atmosphere: kind of what you’d expect. Typical except for the many pictures of Elvis on the walls. Misc: the bathroom was dirty. Clean it up silver point!

Food quality is good with a large menu. Most times seated right away. Typical New Jersey diner feel

As far as diners go, Silver Coin is somewhere between excellent and poor. I live less than a mile away and have gone there many times. Breakfast has always been good. But lunch and dinner, not so much. It all really depends on which waitress you get. So far, every time we’ve gone there for lunch, if they seat us to the right(in the booths or at the counter) the waitress has, without fail, gotten the order wrong. But, if they seat us to the left, the waitress has always gotten the order right and provided great service. Same with dinner. My advice, breakfast is good. But if you go there for lunch or dinner, asked to be seated at one of the tables or booths to the left of the entrance. But if you need to find out all the latest local gossip and dirt, sit at the first or second booth to the right… you can listen to the regulars sitting at the counter dishing dirt about everything and everyone in town. You’ll get an earful, but the drawback is, odds are, your order will be wrong.

This is my favorite diner! The food is always consistent and delicious. Try the Cod dinner special and make sure to order skinny fries! The waitresses are awesome, especially Denise.

We had breakfast here on the way back from AC. The veggie omelette was excellent. So was the toast and coffee. The service was good and a very friendly staff. I loved this place. I wish we had such a diner near our place.

We pass by often. Usually corwded when we do so we skip it. We find that though most diners are good brkfst this one for this one meal seems to miss the mark and we avoid if we want brkfst out. However, we find that for lunch, we like the Turkey Club(real meat) and the occasisonal special w/comp soup. Don‘t find abt $ 10 head to be pricey and the staff the last few visits has been helpful and quick with refills. The few times we went recently we were sat quickly. It fits the formula for ‘Greek Style‘ in NJ. The bakery counter usually offers great looking goods but usually are dry and underwhelming and therefore not recommended. They have a ‘comfort‘ foods section of the menu(meat loaf turkey etc) and if you stick to diner basics you should be ok.

Good food some items on menu are pricey for a diner. I had the french toast turkey bacon and home fries which was okay. It took a little while for the food to come out however, it was jammed packed in there.

Visited last night after a long day of work. Cat, your customer service was superb and the food was delicious. Your Bloody Mary recipe should be published as a Blood Mary How To… Excellent! Thank you Silver Coin for another great dinner experience.

Twice I had awful meals here. Won’t return. Who ever heard of a diner that doesn’t serve gyros?

I’m being generous with a two star rating for this place. My sister and I had stopped here after a race a few weekends ago. She had said that she used to come here when traveling to see friends in the area. I was excited to find they had pumpkin pancakes on the menu and ordered those with a side of pork roll, something not so common where I now live. The waitress was nice, but not very attentive. The place wasn’t even close to packed. My pancakes came out undercooked… as in, they were still runny in the middle and the waitress had forgotten my pork roll, which, when it came out, was burnt. I sent the pancakes back for french toast. Two pieces of toast cut in half. that’s what you get. I felt insulted by the price and the fact that I had to keep asking for refills for coffee instead of it being offered. My sister’s sandwich was just«ok» according to her. When we go to AC this weekend, we will definitely be by-passing this place in favor of another diner, like Vincentown. I can wait to get good food.

Typical diner with typical diner fare at typical diner prices. This place has been a stop for me whenever heading to Atlantic City for quite a few years now. I have yet to have a bad meal and have always been pleased with the service. This past weekend my girlfriend and I came here for breakast. Even though they were busy, the eggs were fresh, hashbrowns were crispy, coffee was topped off, and our waitress couldn’t have been nicer. By far one of my favorite diners on the White Horse Pike and definitely worth a visit when you’re taking a ride or in a diner mood.

So disappointing. When we drive by, it is always crowded. When we walked in it looked very promising. It has a nice retro look outside. A large showcase of desserts greet you coming in. We lucked out and had a sweet attentive waitress. There was another waitress who kept talking and entertaining her friends when it was relatively crowded. Now to the food, it is lackluster. My reuben was soggy and the potato salad was flavorless. I’m sure someone made it who doesn’t even know what a true NYC reuben is suppose to look or taste like. My poor son had the corndog which was frozen and horrible. He didn’t touch it and he loves corndogs! My husband liked the buffalo chicken sub but it wasn’t great. He was in a very upbeat, let’s give this place a chance mood. Me, too, but the reuben just put me off entirely. The fries were eh. Not going back unless desperate.

First, the service and lack of management were a big part of us waiting over 30 minutes for the breakfast to arrive. We had a diner bar spot and had good views of the chaos, some hard workers and other servers hardly working. The food is typical Jersey diner and here there’s nothing special about it. I had eggs and wife had an omelette, not awful but not special in any way either. The home fries were not home fries, they were just greasy fried potatoes(that’s it) and were among the worst ever tasted. The highlight of the meal was the tall OJ which was fresh(but not fresh squeezed).
