Food was good, service was great. Every employee greeted us at least once. The salad bar was fine, it also had items like pasta & potato salad, along with 3 soups to choose from. As one other poster did mention, it does smell of «old oil» as soon as you walk in. It wasn’t bothering to us after a bit, but our clothes did smell of oil once we left. Would we come back? Yes.

Went to Ginny O’s today and had an AMAZING breakfast. I have eaten there several times and will keep coming back!!! I have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience there and the food is ALWAYS wonderful. The atmosphere is nice, the food is great and the service is good. I Love the fact that the owner is always there and takes the time to come out and say hello. I love the salad bar and the soups are definitely homemade and yummy. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and my friend had the Belgium waffle. Every time I go there I try some thing different… Now they have a new menu with soooo many choices it is hard to decide what to order, but no matter what I have ordered the food is always delicious and I always leave feeling full and satisfied.

This place is great! Passing through the area, I stopped here with three other people for my family. Even though breakfast to technically ended two hours earlier they were nice enough to fulfill breakfast requests while I enjoyed the salad bar. My brother-in-law got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was huge and tasty, as were the breakfast meals that the other people my group got. The salad bar was really impressive — quite a lot of variety and included wonderful soups that were obviously homemade. I would definitely go back there again. It’s brand-new and beautifully decorated and our server was delightful. Hopefully it will become more of a regular spot for people that I know that live in the area!

Worst service. .waitress was super b!#$@ I asked my wife to try my burger to see if I was the only one who thought it tasted worst then roadkill and the waitress said because we shared the burger the salad bar was going to be 899 instead of 299 Which I would have paid… but I bought two meals so idk why that was such an issue Aldo the sakinaki thumbs downs! 40 dollars later got a horrible bar drink, horrible food, and most of all horrible service Please do not go here unless you want a real bad night followed by disappointment and irritation

We are here a few nights ago. Food and service were ok. Salad bar is nice and clean and soup is obviously homemade. Wife ordered the pulled pork with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans was a 4⁄5. Tender, flavorful — definitely would recommend. I had the BBQ beef sandwich and wouldn’t get it again. It barely had any BBQ sauce on it and the flavor of the meat was off. Could have just been bad luck and I can’t say I would recommend anything about it. All things considered, we walked away feeling we had an average meal, an average experience at an average price.

We(my husband, son and I) stopped here on our way back to Wisconsin. The service was quick and friendly and the food was very good. I got the burger and fries which came out on a huge plate. I definitely took some food home! My husband got the O Henry which came with pancakes, sausage, eggs and hash browns. He definitely enjoyed his meal as much as I enjoyed mine! Another bonus for me was the size and atmosphere. The inside was tastefully decorated for Christmas and was very clean and modern. I would definitely eat there again in a heartbeat.

Their Friday all you can eat fish special was delicious! We liked the soup and salad bar as well, lots of options. We tried the eggs and burger our kids had, they were a bit bland. Prices were reasonable, great atmosphere, staff was very friendly.

We’ve dined here several times. The price is right, we’ve never had poor service, and the food is good. If you are expecting Ruth’s Chris — you’re in for a rude awakening. This isn’t some hoity toity Michelin star joint. It’s a 24 hour local diner owned and operated by a real person — not some large corporation. The soup and salad bar is my favorite part. And many of those items ARE homemade(I’ve tried the apple pie pudding and many of the other salads). For a place that’s close to home — we’ll continue to enjoy it.

we went here for breakfast… after we waited for 10 minutes to get greeted, we finally got coffee after hearing the stories about my server’s tattoo being the memory of her deceased grandchild. whoa! I’m sorry you had a terrible loss, but when I go out to eat, I don’t want to feel uncomfortable because of my server. we had below average biscuits and gravy with«hask» browns that seemed like somehow were canned. With not a lot of options in this area, you think a mom and pop place would really push hard to get good food on the table. I’m willing to pay a little more money for something that’s not slop.

Went here regardless of what the Unilocal reviews said. I am glad we did! We had excellent service from a waitress named Lynn who was incredibly friendly and did a great job recommending the specials and I’m glad because I had some tasty Carnitas! The soup and salad bar was a great addition to the meal and they have three different soups available as well as six different salad dressings, jello, pasta salad, potato salad, kidney bean salad, fruits and puddings. My husband had the nachos, which were homemade and a really big portion. The price was great too! I would recommend stopping here at least to give it a try because I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the great service and good food you may get, regardless of other reviews.

Came in for breakfast with my toddler this morning and waited 10 min for my drinks as the waitress ignored me to service new customers and got there drinks before me! This is my first time here and my last the service is horrible!!!

I was hesitant to try Ginny O’s based on other Unilocal reviews, but I’ve learned to take angry reviews with a grain of salt, and decided to give it a shot. I live practically next door to the place, and a new lunch joint is always welcome. I have been there twice for lunch and both times I have been pleased with the experience. Here’s some highlights. Service: Both times my servers were not only polite, but friendly, like country town friendly. Food came super fast and my drinks were always full. I was seated quickly. They weren’t very busy either time, but in any case I was happy. Environment: What do you expect? it’s a 24 hour country diner, and is one of the nicer looking ones. Everything is clean, but it’s not fancy. Food: Solid! First trip I ordered a turkey club, and it was neither the best nor the worst I’ve had. Second trip I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, which was clearly homemade and had an interesting breading to it with some spices added. Fries were good, too. Best part is the soup and salad bar. How many restaurants do you know of that have 3 different soups on their salad bar every day, and that are homemade? I have tried the chicken tortilla(awesome) beef with lentil(great) and cream of potato(bland, but good.) I am a big fan of soup, so this seals the deal for me. And yes, I could tell they were homemade — you don’t see nice big pieces of super soft pot roast in frozen or canned soup, at least not any I’ve ever tried. Plus, the salad bar is well stocked and the veggies are always crisp and fresh. I’ve been to too many salad bars with crappy spreads, so this was a nice perk also. Price: Good. With a full meal, drink, salad and soup bar, and tip, I’m usually under $ 15. If I didn’t get all the extras, it’d be about $ 10. I’d much rather eat here than Panera or Chipotle. Overall, if you’re local or passing through, this makes a great lunch spot. I wouldn’t bring a date here, but it’s a good local place that is worth giving a try.

Bleh. After waiting several minutes to be acknowledged by the hostess in the nearly empty restaurant, we were finally seated. After ten minutes without a server even bringing water to our table, we got up and left. The server/hostess didn’t even realize we left because she was busy on the telephone. Also, they need to change their oil in their fryers. There was a strange smell of old burnt oil in the air that lingered on our clothes and hair long after we left. You can even smell it in the other businesses that surround their restaurant.

1st time we ate here it was a bit rocky, but understandable since they had only been open a couple of days. We have been back 3 more times and really enjoy the food and the service. The salad bar is fantastic, homemade soup(or at least it tastes homemade) and all the different entrees that we tried were good. A couple of people in our party ordered breakfast for supper and said it was really good. The ribs are so tender the meat falls off the bone. Service & wait time for our meals were about the norm, nothing unusual. Definitely a place we will visit often. Can’t wait to try the Sunday buffet!!!

I’ve been here several times with my wife and kids. Every time they get worse and worse! Hamburger was one of the worst I’ve had. Their steak was dry. Food has come to us missing sides that the menu listed.

My family & I were there on Mother’s Day and it was fantastic! The females were given roses, the service was friendly & professional. But some of my family went there yesterday, and the server forgot to give my sisters order to the kitchen! How could that happen? But we gave them another chance today — they were friendly & the staff sang Happy Birthday to a family member that was with us. But the wait time to get our food was ridiculous! I could understand if the place was packed but it wasn’t! And they offer a 10% discount to Seniors every day — yet we had to ask for the discount to be applied! I don’t find that customer service at its best!

What a great place! First time in the area and me and I my girlfriend couldn’t pick a better place to dine-in! Service is what you could get back in the time(as I heard from my parents and grandparents), old school waitresses, fun atmosphere, delicious food and a great overall experience.

This place is awful! They have terrible and unprofessional service. I couldn’t tell you what the food tastes like because we waited so long for our breakfast that we walked out! Will never try this place again!
