This is the kind of bar you go to if you want to get some type of nasty disease or fungus. What a dump

This is the absolute best bar to go in the Hamptons. I used to frequent this place almost every night. You can always find a good dart game and cheap drinks by friendly bartenders. If you go during the summer months on the weekends expect it to be pretty packed by city people, otherwise it’s usually full of locals. For food you can always get delivery to the bar with no problems or grab something from gators and bring it over. For parking, don’t park at Gators if you plan on leaving your car overnight from drinking too many cheap beers and shots because it will be towed. I wish I could find a bar like this in LA which has been unsuccessful so far. But whenever I travel back to NY I always make this my first bar stop and my friends always have to drag me back out. If you want an unpretentious laid back but sometimes rowdy ny dive bar experience you must go here.

Bub’s!(Technically Ryan’s? But it will always be referred to as Bub’s by the locals, I’m sure.) And YES, dive bar it is! Pool, darts, American beer, a juke box and plenty of TVs with football. It’s fun with the right crowd — which can either be big and noisy or deserted with a few locals, depending on the night. When it’s close to the holidays or a busy summer weekend, you can usually find a fun crowd. Otherwise it’s a quiet place to drink a few and watch a game on TV. I’m not sure about the parking situation there these days, if you park out back by Gators, read the signage to see what spots are ok. Otherwise park across the street behind the nail salon, or grab a spot on the street if you can. The bar features an upper and lower level, both are owned and operated together.
