My wife and I stayed here for a birthday trip and we had a great time. The hotel is actually 6 – 7 separate cottages with a nice pool. The hotel sits on the inland waterway so that you can dock a boat. Our room was very clean and contemporary. There was a small living room area and a kitchen area. The bathroom was updated and modern. The staff was very friendly and they deliver a basket of muffins to your cottage daily for breakfast. Overall this location is very convenient for traveling around the Hamptons.

We had a very clean room on the canal. Beautiful grounds with wonderful landscaping. Staff was very friendly and offered fruit as snacks and fresh muffins in the morning.

Cozy and clean. We enjoyed our cottage on the waterway. The staff that I saw were friendly. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

They never told us they took a 50% deposit at the time of booking(8 week prior to arrival)! I don’t support a business taking money without telling me upfront. Now, 8 days before we are to visit, we need to cancel & they refused to refund the deposit. It is for a Saturday night in June. There is no way they won’t fill room. Ultimately they will be double dipping and I am appalled by their shady business practices.

we have stayed here in the past but stopped going because it was run down. Decided to take a run out to our favorite beach which happens to be near the Drake from the moment we pulled in it was obvious it wasn’t the same old Drake. Come to find out the Drake had a new owner. The new owners took care to details the landscaping gave it great curb appeal that had been missing. All the rooms updated and clean totally renovated. The dock area is now a place where its enjoyable to sit. David at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were extremely happy to see the badly needed over haul, looks like we will be regulars again at the Drake.

$ 300/night and comparable to Motel 6(only, not as clean). I know it’s The Hamptons, but this place begs to be vacant. We checked into our first room: 89 degrees, 1 of 2 working A/C units, broken blinds, broken fridge, pool closed for treatment. We went to the office, and they gave us a different suite. Second room: A/C unit worked and not as ancient, smelled of mold, slightly cleaner, beds small and stiff, and the toiletries looked sub par even for a gas station restroom. The circuit breaker tripped, shutting off the hot water heater, leaving us with two days of cold showers before we realized it. Cobwebs were in every crevice, and though it appeared clean, it felt like housekeeping cleaned with a bucket of cold water. Overall, it wasn’t horrific, until you consider the $ 300/night rate. In fairness, the owner answered every request, but also didn’t seem surprised at the issues. If there’s no other options, or if this sounds worth it to you, please enjoy and share your ratings.
