Had a great night, even lost my purse, phone, and credit cards and they found it and contacted me the next day. Couldn’t ask for better service right?!

This place is fun but casual. For a night in the Hamptons we were looking to do something a little more upscale but our friends were at this place so we decided to give it a try. It was filled with sloppy drunks but overall we had a good time. The drinks were watered down and barely taste any liquor though. Its right near the water so its deff a chill place to go out without spending a ton of money. The cover was $ 20.00 and drinks were average 10 $ each. Dress is casual beachy, we were way over dressed for this place lol. I recommend wearing wedges or flats!

Came to the Hamptons for a weekend in late July and came to Beach Bar on a Friday night around 1AM because it was one of the few options close by. The club is in the midst of a lot of houses, which can be confusing when you’re driving there. There was a huge parking lot that was packed in the back. $ 10 cover and no wait. The club was actually better than I expected! It was packed and music was good(top 40s with a little edm mixed in).there was some weird Christmas music because of the theme that night though. They really decked out the venue in Christmas themed décor like banners, huge ornaments, a Santa, Christmas lights, and a Christmas tree! Santa even took shots with the DJ at one point. That night the dance floor was even better than some clubs in NYC so we spent most of the time dancing. The bathrooms had no line, which is astounding for a club. There is also a huge outdoor area with a few TVs and bars. Inside has a fun club feel while outside has a chill bar feel. A great place to check out if you’re in the Hamptons and want to go clubbing or hang out at a bar!

Update: The bartenders tried to steal from me. They gave me back a receipt for $ 40.00 and I tipped nothing because of their terrible service. My credit card shows a charge for $ 49. They are thieving scum — watch your card and charge it back to them if necessary.

Loved this place! Came here for the first time with a bachelorette party and we had a blast! It was a little slow going at first. The DJ didn’t start until what felt like midnight(we got there around 10pm). But what I loved most is that the place was big enough that you could go inside and dance or hang out on the deck outside and still enjoy the music. Not a huge selection of beer or liquor but it’s a pretty chill place(beer cans not bottles) so I get it. The bartenders were super friendly and fun! We did the bachelorette package and it was fun to start off with(champagne toast, free shots, scavenger hunt). As it got to about 2am it was a little too crowded for my liking and the bathroom situation is not effective BUT it’s a bar, that’s life! :) I will definitely be making my way back here if I ever find myself in the Hamptons again.

For 10 buck u get to endure a group of toe stepping nose snubbig long island bread brats, and thats just the owners who, after i brought up my concerns about the dj lack lust performance dismissed me with a rudely place ’ Why dont you go write us about it’ and ’ Well we arent trying to be a night club.’ Really?! Sir? Then tell what is a bar with a dance floor and a terrible dj(who couldnt decide if he wanted to play the black key or Miley Cyrus in the same 15 min set) doing open at 2 am with out serving food and mind you at least 4 diffrent bars indoor and out door. No sir your not a night club you a piss poor excuse of nepitism. THANKGOD i only had too pay 10 buck any more and i may have fliped a table.

If you’re not having a good time here then there’s something wrong with you… have another drink for the good of humanity. The only con: There should NOT be a cover. At least make it a lot cheaper or free up to like 11:30pm or something. Beause like someone else said, there are much nicer clubs in the city that are free. Also I heard that this will now be renting out to the drift on certain nights. So it might get like TOO crowded.

Been coming to this bar everyday Friday during for the past 4-ish summers. Cool place to go, a little pricey though. What makes this place great is the layout of the club/bar. The club part of this place is located indoors, where there is a DJ and dance floor, couple of bars, etc. But then you can walk right past that and go to a large outdoor bar area. This doesn’t have the club feel to it, so if you’re someone who doesn’t like clubs or dancing, you can still enjoy yourself here. Usually when I go with friends, all our guy friends skip the indoors part and just hangout outside, while us girls all go inside and dance. Everyone’s happy. I think there’s a $ 20 cover charge just to get in(I haven’t had to pay though because I’m a bartenders guest list). The drinks are a little pricey too, around $ 9/$ 10 for a cranberry vodka type drink. Prob $ 6ish for beers(not a big selection). However, if you’re okay with the pricey aspect of the bar, then it’s definitely worth going to. Music is usually radio hits/techno. It’s the kind of bar that anyone could really enjoy. People who like clubs and dancing will like going here, but people who are also more laid back will like it too.

We had a bachlorette party of 11 girls this past weekend– and I was very impressed with the bar and service! First off Scott did a great job helping me set everything up, when we arrived the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Brian, our(very cute) bartender was ready with a bottle of champagne for our group and a huge set of shots! We were aged from 23 – 28 and both the younger girls and the older girls had a wonderful time. There were a bunch of different types of music so something for everyone. The scavenger hunt was fun although challenging– and the bartenders were great at serving. The place had a great layout– 3 bars — with multiple areas to be served at each bar so we never waited long for a drink. There were a TON of girls there– so if I was a guy I would definitely go to this place!

Good: –The DJ was playing some great music(good mix of hip-hop, rap, pop, and some reggae). Good flow from song to song — well done. –Has both an inside(dance floor) area and outside area(tables and such). –The dance floor comes alive a little after midnight. Bad: -$ 10 cover. –Drinks and shots were a bit on the pricey side. All in all, it was a pretty good time and definitely a solid 3.5 stars.

I love this place, I wish it were closer to me. The hour drive is worth it, though and the $ 10 cover. I love the crowd, really nice mix of friendly people that just want to have fun. It’s not one of those spots were you go to be seen, not one of those spots were the ladies grind against men who hold up the wall. Drinks are moderately priced and the dj is okay. ONLYGOONFRIDAYS. Fridays are hip hop night and they play a nice mix of everything. Saturdays are a completely undanceable electronic night and an embarassingly thin crowd. But Fridays are worth it.

Location– kinda outta the way DJ– Excelent if u like hip hop and dance music, i think the music was pretty good! they played no 80’s like pump your fist to guys with long blonde hair and leather jacket stuff. already a plus in my book. Inside– Big open space. Plenty of room to do ur thang and i like the outside bar/deck area. Nice and big, plenty of seats. I also like how they do drink 2fers or specials during the night. Bathroom– nice and big with like 10 stalls and nice big mirrors so you can check out the mess you are about to become haha People– Def diff crowd when coming to the hamptons to party… I’d like to believe most ppl are like still trashy even if they can afford to rent out a house for the weekend. A big glaring difference from going out east to hamptons, vs west to city, is def the ppl. The beach bar is more summer-club attire. No hipsters here or freaks or emos… good for some ppl, bad for others. I’m not white, nor am i guid, and i still had fun… Less minority for sure from the city, crowd isn’t as mixed, but def a lot of orange faced ppl w fake boobs ahhaa. Doesnt get started till like 12 pm tho.

If you want a low key night that still includes dancing this is one of the few options you have. The DJ is ok most of the time. I would definitely not pay cover to come here, if I don’t pay cover in the city why would I pay cover on Long Island? Lol. If you’re a smoker you can always smoke in here and there are usually cigarette girls giving out cigarettes and beer vouchers. The best night I ever had here we kept getting shots bought by this random girl. It was pretty awesome-free drinks with no pressure. Lol.

Now maybe I’m biased because I usually stay across the street when I am in the Hampton’s but the beach bar is allot of fun. Open only for the summer months Beach bar is a great place to get your dance on the inside dance floor or cool off on the outside patio area. They usually have good DJ’s playing hip hop and dance music. There is usually a cover charge of $?10(I think) which is pretty standard for bars in the area. If your in the area and you feel like dancing this place is definitely worth checking out, especially now that CPI has closed :(
