While it is pricey here, the produce is well worth the extra cash. Lots of DELICIOUS organic fruit.

Forget about all those tiny, even more expensive, health food stores. This mega healthful store is the best for many reasons: great selection, superb, knowledgeable, helpful staff; delicious deli counter; fabulous juice bar; big, diverse supplement section; lots of organic things, etc. Yes, it is not cheap, but that is because of the really superior quality of their products. My family and I have been going here forever; no regrets — no colds, no flu. This store is MOTIVATING!

Great staff ! This place is wonderful. When you want to find fresh organic products, this place has quality items in all departments. Juice bar is really good. Great fresh made items and roast chicken. Seafood is always fresh from locals, and the Tuna is always great while in season. Huge selection, worth the visit.

This is by far my favorite Wild by Nature… it’s big… quiet and always has a few cool things you can’t think of other places… They carry the best coconut water I have ever tasted … in a clear glass jar… unusually sweet. beyond amazing — coconut water is not created equal — They have a gourmet rainbow cookie for rainbow cookie fans… be prepared to pay for the belgian chocolate they use and — no food coloring… the colors are always either faded or too bright and strange… which I really like…(hate food dyes) They make a perfect croissant… they have real guacamole to go if you like that… They have all types of organic produce and yogurt… and all types of cool trek mixes. My mother loves their whole bean organic coffees — her favorite is from Ethiopia and other mild blends… and they have hot/self serve organic coffee too. and it is BETTER not worse than regular… few organics are. these are really good and addictive… Adding this: Sandwiches — picked up a few for people doing work on a project and all were the best! They use real not fake turkey. when they have it in. and romain lettuce not iceberg… and fresh rolls or heros from the bakery if you want they will let you pick one… etc. they have cool chutney behind the counter for the condiments… better then anywhere else out here for a sandwich. What I really like is the story of the King Kullen family’s daughter opening an organic/gourmet market — likely inspired to promote better quality food etc… and the good thing is… their items. like seafood ravioli etc. are carried in King Kullen… likely why this small chain can manage to stay in busines. We need more Whole Foods and Wild by Nature stores around… they are both in my opinion better than trader joes…(who has a hit or miss mix of healthy/gourmet where I have seen palm oils in cookies and other things such as preservatives in the strawberry jam. etc.) But here everything is good… I have only found one flaw… it’s the fresh fruit… read the label if you want to know more :) On the way out — there are always stacks of cool Hampton’s papers like Dan’s and the glossy real estate promos in the foyer to take with you.

If you don’t mind $ 65 gallons of olive oil and the nastiest rudest chef on the east end, then this is the store for you!

Naughty by nature for certain. The boutique arm of King Kullen/KK subsidiary has restrictive hours and a largely non-functional and thus uninformative site, and my question re: a shopper card was met with incredulity and about 45 seconds of bewilderment, but I used my card on my first trip, so it was ultimately a success(and the puzzled girl was friendly, at least). I grabbed a circular from the same CS desk but wasn’t particularly impressed by any deals. There was a great selection of most varieties of products for the health-conscious and gastronomically sensitive(including beers), but I found the prices to be closer to those @ WF than TJ. The salad bar seemed decent but wasn’t go-out-of-your-way commendable by looks alone, and there’s a seating area near the entrance for those so inclined. I was fond of the not-as-common-as-I’d-like loose grains section and capitalized on that to the behest of some folks who seemed stymied by my speed and the sheer array of my purchase. Said patrons tended to be under– or overdressed and all seemed to assume I worked there, a big problem everywhere I go. The conveyor on which I placed my items was awkwardly hollow, and I’m unsure of the coupon policy of the establishment, but mid-week on an early April evening, the onslaught of gelotophobic summer folk was kept to a minimum, fortunately not riddling my shopping experience.
