I like this Aldi. I feel like the selection is better than the one on Moreland Ave, but that’s a demographic thing. I only shop for vegetables here, so I can’t speak to their packaged items. I spent $ 50 on frozen and fresh fruits and vegetables, in which I had over a week’s worth of vegetables. I was very pleased with the money I saved compared to my usual hauls at Kroger and Trader Joe’s. I did have to do a bit of a scavenger hunt to find the fresh goods that aren’t already going to waste. This doesn’t bother me, since I would have the same issue going through my uncle’s garden. Don’t forget your bags/boxes as I always tend to do. You can purchase heavy duty freezer bags for like $.10, but if you don’t grab them the cashier will assume that you don’t need any. Yes the lines are long, but they move at a decent pace. Oh and the carts are a quarter that you get back, so keep a quarter handy. Overall, I would say to try Aldi first during the week, before you do your big grocery haul on the weekends. Your pockets will thank you.
