Got my fourth tattoo done here yesterday and I’m glad I picked this place. Matt did amazing work! I got the galactic empire symbol from Star Wars in the middle of a mandala flower and it’s so well done. The shading and the line work are perfect. I will definitely be a regular here!

I got my second tattoo done at ancient art yesterday. Greg did it and did an AMAZING job– solid lines and great customer service. I know I particularly was a difficult customer because I had gotten my first tattoo at Blue Horseshoe and they ruined it so I was very nervous. But Greg and the other artist all made me feel welcomed and shared their knowledge with me in a way that made me feel comfortable enough to trust the person doing my tattoo.

Started getting cover up at a shop in «Virginia beach» i made multiple appointments and the artist was late the first scheduled appointment. Then cancelled the next appointment. And of course they canceled the one after that. So I called Mike at ancient arts store in Hampton and hour later after going over what I wanted for my cover up and the rest of my arm I’m getting a whole sleeve done he was very fast and did awesome work. Im very pleased with Mike’s artistical talents, work ethics and very positive attitude he will be the only person I ever let touch my body again to do tattoos on. So if you’re looking for the best tattoo artist call Mike at there store in hampton.5star work all day call Mike if you want it done right the first time.

Went in for a cover-up of something I’ve hated for 15 years, something I’ve been told to get lasered or told would be hard to cover. I now have something beautiful that I love and my hubby could barely see the old tat even when he searched, without searching my old tat is invisible :). Very pleased with the work and with the service I received.

I just got my first tattoo done here while on vacation. I researched many of the tattoo shops on Mercury & Ancient Art seemed to have the best reputation and highest satisfaction rates. I can say without hesitation that I made the right choice. My tattoo is awesome! Matt, the artist was really nice when I first walked in & continued to make me feel comfortable throughout the entire time I was there. I honestly couldn’t be happier. I’m not from the area but if I was I’d definitely go back to Ancient Art!
