Ordered pizza from Anna’s once about three months ago, the pizza was great, the garlic knots were awesome. All around it was a good family owned place with quality fresh ingredients.

We had been away from Anna’s restaurant for a few years, while we were away they updated the inside, updated the menu and everything was for the best. The garlic nuts were perfectly soaked in buttery garlic, the veal omg was good and I was too full to sample the Stromboli however the person who ordered it didn’t say a word other than mmmmm in between bits. Joe still greets everyone like family as they come through the doors. Highly recommend this to anyone that wants authentic Italian food with friendly family like atmosphere

I ordered delivery chicken cheese steak and curly fries. It took about an hour for it to come and the food was cold when it got here. The bread they use for the subs is phenomenal though! And it was stuffed with more than a generous portion of chicken. The fries were good like Arby’s but agin they were cold. The lady who took my order over the phone was polite and so was the delivery lady. I will be ordering from here agin soon. Agin, only complaint is the not so warm food lol 12÷18÷15 This was my first time dining in and I was impressed with the nice clean appearance after seeing other reviews. It’s December and the dining area was tastefully decorated. My friend and I ordered the bruschetta appetizer and it was the best I’ve ever had!!! We both ordered the create your own pasta with angel hair, shrimp, chicken, bruschetta and garlic oil. It was very good. The roasted garlic in the sauce is perfect. The shrimp were nice size and cooked well. I wish the pasta had a little more salt but I added my own. My friend got the Caesar salad which the pasta comes with soup or salad. I wish I got the house salad I got was a sorry excuse. It was shredded lettuce that goes on sub sandwiches dried out olives and two slices of provolone cheese. Without a doubt the worse thing I’ve gotten from here. Our waitress was amazing though. I’m looking forward to trying more menu items I usually do delivery

Not just a local favorite, well worth the drive from anywhere in Hampton Roads. The food is incredible and the specials keep the menu fresh. The ambiance is casual but the décor is classy and very welcoming. Great place for families or a date night! They are also great for take-out. The restaurant staff could not be nicer! You WILL love this place!

I’ve read all of the rave reviews about the food here but am I the only person who’s bothered by the fact that the food is prepared is such a filthy, dirty, run down place?

Food was delicious. Staff was friendly… extra shootouts to my waitress for singing the Powerpuff girls theme song with my kids. I have a 4 and a 2 year old and this is definitely a family restaurant.

First impressions and a welcoming smile are always a great way to start a meal. The server greeted us and instantly made us feel welcome. We ordered the calamari as an app and she was nice enough to bring us a bruschetta sample since it is the signature app. Calamari was ok but portion was awesome. I would order the bruschetta again. Perfect blend of basil tomatoes and garlic perfectly balanced and melded with olive oil. For the main event we ordered the shrimp scampi and papas spinach pizzas. Both were different and deliciously unique. The feta is top notch and the mozzarella was like fresh buffalo style. Crust was light, fluffy and perfectly toasted and crispy. Definitely a jewel hidden in Hampton.

I’ve been a faithful customer for over a decade but must admit I usually only have grinders and pizza. Definitely recommend the Italian or steak and cheese. Routinely see the owner and his sons keeping an eye on things. Very friendly. Beautiful banquet space. Most recently we had the chicken florentine pizza. Its worth the drive from Newport News.

This place is a favorite. The brushetta is perfect! The pizza is my favorite in the area– I get the garlic and ricotta and it’s melt cheese and crispy crust are spot on. We also love the garlic knots. My mom gets the cheese steak, always and says it’s her favorite. This place is always a win for us!

I really like Anna’s. I remember ordering their pizza all the time when I would go to my grandmother’s house on Old Buckroe Rd, but it wasn’t until my last visit home that I ever sat down inside to eat(and order something other than a pepperoni pizza). I ate at Anna’s 3 – 4 times while I was home. Their spaghetti with meatballs is really good, as is, of course, their pepperoni pizza. However, they did something really cool. My GF’s mom wanted to build her own pizza: caesar dressing, tomatoes, black olives, spinach, Italian sausage, mozzarella with no tomato sauce… and they built it. And it was GOOD! Surprisingly. I don’t care for spinach, and I can’t really envision a pizza without tomato sauce, let alone substituted with caesar dressing, but it was really good. And it was really cool that the kitchen made the pizza to order for her. The service is outstanding in here as well. I suppose being that they’re in there so much helps, because the wait staff knows them, but I really like the quality of the service. I can’t wait to go back home, just so I can go to Anna’s.

The wife had Fettucine Alfredo ***** Steak salad ***** ranch dressing ***** Spinich pizza ***** was a little cold but we were late picking it up(our fault) great flavor, would have liked a little more sauce but that’s just me 2YO daughter had Ravioloi ***** Garlic knots * not much flavor, dry, the sauce was good My wife picked up the order and said was quick and courteous. Only reason 4 stars was a bit pricy but would eat here again and most likely will and try one of the grinders.

We walked in, sat at the bar & had a glass of wine while we waited for take out. The staff were all friendly & helpful. Food was good. We got a combo pizza, chicken florentine(lots of garlic), and a Philly cheese steak sandwich(lots of meat). All were good, made with fresh ingredients. Pizza dough was fresh & they will make it thinner or thicker if you ask

Damn good pizza and grinders, Italian food, and salads. Best steak grinder anywhere in Hampton.(For those who don’t know what a grinder is, it’s the New England term for hero, torpedo, sub, or hoagie… sandwich names are so regional!) The regular pizzas are pretty good, but the white pizza is divine. The eggplant parm is really good, though tends to be pricey. To be fair though, I usually go home with leftovers for the next day’s lunch. The Greek salad with Caesar dressing is also a fav there. Oh, and they have calamari… always a bonus! Anyone who has read more than one of my reviews knows how much emphasis I put on service, and this place has never lacked. Some reviews here downed them here, but I’ve never had a problem. I’m always greeted at the door, waitresses are always friendly, and my food is out to me in a reasonable time. Why not 5? Price is the main detractor, seconded by location. It’s situated in a dying strip mall, in a sketchy looking area. I would never have looked twice at the place if I had not been sitting at the tire shop at the front of the strip mall, and realized I was hungry. Finding it was a treat though, and I have returned many times.

Not impressed with this place. Came in saw no one working in the dinning room. Stood in line for 10 minutes before anyone started helping those of us in line. Then was told to just pick a seat. Waited another 10 for someone to even ask me for a drink order. I order bruschetta for an appetizer and a Philly sub(since that’s what the other guy recommended). Both arrived together another 20 minutes after I ordered. The sub was nothing to write home about. The bruschetta was good but drenched in oil. I would come back(probably take out) but I wouldn’t take my friends here.

You just cant go to Anna’s without eating their Philly Cheesesteak Submarine… I was born and raised on this and I have the heart docter to prove it. I moved away out of state and when I come home, I have to eat an Anna’s Philly Cheesesteak Sub. I love the sliced ribeye meat cooked in with the mushrooms and onions and it is piles on to the lightly crusted bread. The provolone melted and mixed with the meat creates magic in my mouth… it is that serious yall… The restaurant is very clean and you can have a nice conversation with a date and reminisce about the good ol’ days.
