Chesapeake Bay Sailing Adventures

Thankfully our refund from Groupon was just approved for the sailing package my Wife and purchased for our family over a year ago. We have battled these scam artists for months trying to make arrangements for them to make good on the countless empty promises they gave us for dates to sail.
Bad business. Avoid them at all costs.
Go to their Facebook page (if they haven’t deleted it or the countless comments from others) and look at all the people trying to contact them and chase them down.

We booked a four hour sailing adventure on the Chesapeake using a half-​off Groupon. Carl (the Captain) and Michelle (first matie) were well skilled and delightful people. They have a beautiful 39 foot sailboat and have been sailing most of their lives. Carl and Michelle live on the boat ²⁴⁄₇ however it doesn’t look ‘lived in’ at all. They limit the number of passengers to 6 to allow enough room for everyone to be comfortable.
The reason for the missing star is they are extremely hard to contact. Several times I called to book this trip and I got ‘mailbox is full’. I see this a lot from people on their Facebook page too. Michelle says they are having a problem with their phone carrier and is aware of this problem. I’ll bet they lost some business from people who are less patient than I am. I learned to call after the sun sets.
