Absolute best service. Rachel so friendly. They were packed with a crowd but somehow found a way to make everyone feel special. Very generous on Cow Day. Will come back again and again. Kiana absolutely precious cannot say enough about this Chik Fil A!!!

Always love some Chick-Fil-A, just not a great day on this visit Saturday July 13. First off understand that this location on Saturday is a ridiculous mob scene with drive thru line around the building, I kid you not. But after a swim meet that my son had in Newport News he was starved. We were able to find parking, not easy and unable to just enter the building, not easy either. Staff was immediately at the door directing traffic to cashiers. I noticed while in line a lot of flies were buzzing around me which was annoying. My order got taken in 5 min, or so and I did not consider this bad with the mob scene. The young man taking the order was nice, no issues and happy with front counter service. My son found a table and waited on me and soon came over and said flies were all over the table. Our shake came out first and delivered to the table, great. Soon food came out and name was called, again great. The order was all correct and satisfied with the temperature and it was good. As soon as food was out flies were all over our food, table, body and it was just gross. I quickly told a staff person and they apologized and said they were trying to control. The meal was ruined by annoying nasty flies every where. I told one additional staff person that again apologized, but by this time my son just wanted to leave. We tried to quickly get our food down to get the hell out of this god forsaken nasty place. The same staff person came over and check on refills and if we needed anything, this was really great I thought, but what would have been awesome if management would have come to the table, it never happen after two staff people were notified they had very unhappy customers. We soon left and I contacted corporate who gave us two coupons to return for sandwiches. I also contacted the local owner/operator of the store a day later, but guess what he never called me back which speaks volumes to this locations commitment to customer service. My favorite fast food is Chick-Fil-A, they do amazing things with customer service and the food is delicious. Really solid customer service was displayed at this location with a bad experience. So this review and 2 stars is based on management response both at the restaurant and through email. It was owner/operator James Perry that has no excuses for not following through and I will not return. I will go to my favorite location around the corner from my home in Haygood, VB which is always spot on.

I have a love-hate here. I’ve had really awful service that was due to the idiots on staff at time who put down my friend when they thought we were out of eat shot — it didn’t end well and a manager took care of it and make them apologize to my friend. There is a LONG line at lunch time but they manage it well and suffer in that heat to do so — line goes by very quickly and my order is very rarely wrong or incorrect. My favorite clean eating meal there is the market salad without that nasty blue cheese. I have no idea why anyone eats that stuff… smells like trash to me but anyway :) I eat it without dressing and it’s fantastic w/grilled chicken. Food is always delicious, well stocked for condiments, napkins and it’s always clean inside, trash is always kept up. Sometimes annoying that staff comes to your table 3−4−5 times during a meal to ask if you need anything. I understand they are trying to be different which I appreciate but there’s a difference between too many times and just enough — work that out. or maybe use a placard system where staff puts it on a table and then takes it back away when the table is bussed. It gets annoying to be on a quick lunch hour and need to make quick small talk with someone only to be interrupted one too many times. So, I’ll keep trying here because it’s close to work but if anything goes down like it did with my friend again — I am done.

Living in NYC I’m always having a craving for Chick-Fil-A. Every time I go home I make sure to make a stop here to have a quick lunch and a12 pack of chicken nuggets for the road. The chicken breading is like no other, prefect spices and the breading doesn’t feel heavy at all. The waffle fries are perfection in every way, always hot and crispy. And the SWEETTEA! You make my heart sing! The prefect balance of sugar without feeling like you’re gonna get diabetes. This is why this would be my last meal! I’m always in my happy place when I come here, I do a little dance walking up to the building or in my car when in the drive-thru. As far as the establishment itself, it’s clean. The workers are happy, maybe because they get Sundays off. I would consider this franchise as classy fast food. I know there are far better quality places to eat but Chick-Fil-A is like home to me, no matter what state I’m in.

kind of an intstitution in virginia and I hear they’re expanding to california. nothing really too spectacular about the food, though they do have waffle cut fries. but they’re closed on sundays so their employees can go to church or hang with their families, and when I was there last there was a woman who came around and asked if you wanted a refill of your drink. as fast food places go, pretty cool.
