Our favorite and almost only breakfast place. The food is ALWAYS good and affordable. The homefries ARETOWRITEHOMEABOUT. They are red potato and pre cooked then fried which makes the BEST homefries. I know, I make a lot of them, many ways! The sausage is quality. They serve REAL food, not tater tots or Banquet brand sausage as many other places sell.

Not impressed. People over sold this place to me. It is what it is, and what it is is nothing special. To call the food typical diner fare, I think, is unfair to diner food. Its a greasy spoon that slings bacon and eggs. The place is packed, so maybe I’m just not ordering the right food.

Best breakfast joint in Hampton, NH — bar none! Small place, but the food is excellent with great big portions to start off your day.

I have lived in Hampton 11 years. I am a bit of a foodie. I love Hoatys food. The owner is quite the cook making a variety of tasty breakfast treats. Waitstaff is friendly courteous and expedites food quickly. Very casual place to have breakfast or lunch. My families«go to» place for breakfast.

Had breakfast there today based on Unilocal high reviews after seeing a show at the Casino the night before. Food was satisfactory, normal diner-type fare. Tons of cheese on omelets, beware. Had a first-time experience, as the waitress, mid-order, left our table to go deliver food. Then returned to complete our table’s order. Very odd. Overall, can’t kill them, food was good.

This is the best breakfast spot in Hampton, hands down. The fact that it’s family run, has great service and excellent food all make this my go-to breakfast spot in Hampton. I’ve always eaten well here, and the quirky pig-themed atmosphere adds a kitsch flair to the experience. The only downside is the parking lot, which fills up quickly as you can image!

Everything was«fair» including the service. The eggs did not taste like farm fresh. The coffee was horrible. Very noisy and dated restaurant.

Honestly, best French toasts I ever ate. Veggie omelette with cheese was delicious. Eggs Benny was good too although I got bacon replaced with veggies. It’s much better than Linda’s breakfast place on laffeyette rd. Staff is friendly and fast. Enjoy your b’fast

Small place. Could use some updating. The food however was outstanding. We had pancakes which were very good. Bacon, home fries and eggs. All excellent and perfectly cooked. My wife had an omelette which she liked very much. Service was also very good. True hidden gem!

Have driven past this place for years. Glad we stopped today. Very friendly neighborhood breakfast place. Terrific service. Corned beef was a little too salty, but our omelets were very good – fresh veggies and eggs that weren’t overcooked like so many other places. We’ll be back!

Whenever I see so many 5-star reviews, I immediately get suspicious — that’s just the way I’m wired up. But this is the real deal. The food is always fresh, the specials interesting and the owners Gary and Pam are as friendly as many other reviewers have pointed out. The place is decently sized for weekdays, though I’m sure it’s a bit of a wait on the weekends — a testament to Hoaty’s success. Hands down, the best place in town for breakfast, and perhaps lunch. The menu is right-sized — diners aren’t confronted with the Brobdingnagian mess one typically encounters at breakfast places — and includes high-quality standard American breakfast fare(omelets, pancakes and the like). No deep fryer means no french fries — the only possible quibble. Still, I lived and worked in and around Hampton more than a decade ago, and Hoaty’s was my favorite place then. Until recently, I was working in Hampton again and Hoaty’s remained my favorite spot.

Hoaty’s is a popular local breakfast and lunch place in Hampton Village with plenty of regular customers here. There’s a parking lot in back of the building with entrance to the restaurant. The dining room is cozy which has an open kitchen/grill area with counter seating, tables, and booths. Laminated menus, silverware/napkins and Hunts Ketchup bottles already at each table. There are newspapers for reading available in the dining room. The breakfast menu offerings feature egg dishes, 3 egg omelets, pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches muffins, cinnamon sour cream coffee cake & sides. For Kids Only menu is offered here too. The lunch menu features burgers and sandwiches served with chips & pickle. The prices here are pretty reasonable, most dishes priced $ 2.75-$ 7.25. Blackboard specials are offered here including seafood chowder to go. I arrived here around high noon for a late Saturday breakfast. I sat myself at an open table and the waitress was prompt in offering me a drink. For breakfast, I ordered the Veggie Omelet(w/o cheese) — choose 3 veggies($ 4.95) served with homefries and toast. The food was served hot and fresh in about 10 minutes. The Veggie Omelet was BIG taking up most of the plate and shaped like the State of NH, which was a folded egg filled with lots of fresh spinach, broccoli, and fresh sliced mushrooms. The homefries were fresh cut potatoes, lightly grilled and seasoned and slightly oily. The wheat toast was firm and buttered. The check for my breakfast with an ice water came out to $ 5.40 with tax/before tip. Overall, a good tasty and filling breakfast with good service. I also know that Hoaty’s is popular with postal workers since as I was leaving, a group of postal workers were filing in here to eat around 12:30PM for their break. As I exited, there were 5USPS mail trucks parked around my vehicle. This sort of reminded me of another popular breakfast place in Holderness with plenty of orange highway trucks in the parking lot. CASHONLY, ATM on premises

cute local place for a great breakfast. everyone in the restaurant seemed to be a regular probably because the waitresses and staff treat everyone that way. the food is classic breakfast stuff with the BESTTEXASTOAST i have ever had. this piece of bread was about 2 inches thick and toasted and buttered to perfection. crispy and buttered on the surface and soft and fluffy in the middle. to be honest i don’t remember much else about our meals because the toast just blew everything out of the water. i would definitely go back just to eat this piece of bread again.
