The only thing worse than the Hampton Walmart is this Kmart. Brace yourself to be surrounded by rude, arrogant, aggressive, smart mouthed people. Oh yeah, did I say rude and aggressive? LOL!

Okay so I did some Christmas shopping here on Christmas Eve. It was one of the only stores open until 10pm. I wanted to buy my niece this Batman hat(she LOVES Batman). Well it had no price tag. There were no other ones of any kind like it in sight. I took it to check out, warned the cashier that it didn’t have a price, of course he asked if there were anymore… I told him nope. He says we’re not supposed to sell it with out a price. I suggested looking it up on line on my phone. He says okay. I pull up the Kmart website and find the exact Batman hat with the price. He asked to borrow my phone to show the manager. Comes back and says… we don’t do Internet pricing. Really? It was the Kmart website!!! Don’t shop here. They don’t even honor their own prices!!!

We visited this place recently and it was a bit scary. Next to a major road, the parking lot was nearly empty and looked almost abandoned. Inside, there were many clearance items place in the middle of the aisles but we haven’t found any items of interest in those bins. Still, once we got past the appearance, we found that it still had the canned soup that we were looking for.

OK, first of all this store has everything. From clothing to auto supplies to kitchen stuff and even that«only seen on TV stuff.» Mothers with small kids: K-Mart is the place for you, particularly this one. They have a big variety of kids clothing. I checked out the lawn and Grader and Auto accessories department and they were right on. Most importantly, THEPRICEWASRIGHT! They K-Mart is not the busiest I have seen, I wonder how it is still open. Customer service was nice and people are willing to help you. Ill be going back.

The look of this Kmart needs a lot of work, but that’s just due to the modern look of other retail stores compared to this one. It wouldn’t be frustrating to shop there if 95% of its’ staff gave a damn, but they don’t. Their attitude reflects what they’re getting paid an hour, which must not be much. Only a few in there knows how to give adequate customer service — the rest just look and sound like they rather be somewhere else. Hey, I get it — you(the employee) don’t feel like working. I work for a huge retail company, so I understand. What I also understand is that if I and everyone else that works with me had that same attitude towards the customer, we wouldn’t get many customers in our store. If you have to fake your cheery smile to please the customer, then fake it, because there’s nothing worse than being fired from a retail job due to bad customer service; and the way it feels in this store, I can predict constant turnarounds(meaning new people quit or get fired and more new people take their place) happening every month.

This place is terrible. It smells of pain & suffering. Wash whatever you buy from here before you use it so you don’t catch a disease. Also, don’t shop here: every time you do, an angel loses its wings while wondering why you didn’t just shop at Walmart first.
