Buyers beware: I purchased a dishwasher from Sears and was told to wait 24 hours for a delivery call. Three days later, no call had come. After two hours and three phone calls later, Sears told me they had cancelled my order. One employee said it was due to out-​stock-​inventory and another told me my card had been declined. So I called my bank, turns out the card was denied because Sears «tested» the card for one dollar instead of just putting the entire charge through. I do not know why a company would do this, and even the bank could not account for such a decision. But then to cancel my order without contacting me about it is as shady as can be.

I think Sears is going out of business They will find any reason to NOT honor a warranty.

We visited this Sears recently as we had ordered something online and set it to be picked up from this site. On the outside, the building looked old but inside, it was pretty decent. The cashier was polite and friendly in helping us locate the Pick Up area as it seemed to be hidden on the opposite end of the store. The associate at the Pick Up area was quick and friendly in delivering the item to us.
