Motel 6

I attended a convention across the street from here and thought it’d be a low-​budget place to stay that wasn’t scary bad. I was doing good checking in, the lady at the counter was pleasant and knew what she was doing to check me in. I was happy they could check me in early too!
Unfortunately my room was on the other side of the hotel from the elevator and a bit away from a set of seriously rusted stairs. I had to use those broke down old things to get to my room on the second floor. I could tell lots of the hotel was in disrepair other than the stairs, there was lots of paint peel and different colors on the doors.
My room was ok, the beds were fine (I liked the pillows). My biggest yucks were finding a dried (used) washrag on top of the shower curtain. And there were mites (I think) in the sink. Dismal view of the closed pool. The air unit makes such a ruckus it’s hard to sleep.
I would have pitched a bigger fuss if I spent any time in the room besides sleeping for a few hours. I definitely won’t stay here again. The cost of the room when I paid in advance was $ 5 more than the price on the sign the nights I stayed there. I was disappointed to not have saved anything booking well in advance.

This motel 6 wasn’t anything special. The building seemed nice and the rooms on the inside seemed nice by just glancing at them. The card readers on the doors need to be replaced as they do not work half the time. The floor beside the bed in our room was wet and smelled of strong cleaning supplies. In our 2 day stay at the motel, housekeeping did not clean the room. The trash in the trash cans was overflowing by the time that we left and the old towels that we had used were still in the bathroom floor. The only sign that they had been in the room were the handful of extra towels that they threw on one of the unmade beds. And can’t forget the last 20 minutes we were there. My mother and I were looking under the beds to see if we had kicked anything of ours under them and there was an empty 40 of Natural Ice. Apparently housekeeping doesn’t do their job correctly after guests leave either. Who knows what else we would have found if we had stayed there any longer. We won’t be staying here again.

If i could give this place lower than 1 star i would. I wrote to Ciro office to complain and the response i got was it was independent owned so they could do nothing. The city needs to shut this CRACK/​PROSTITUTION dirty filthy bug riddled falling down piece of crap motel!!!

Not knowing this area of hotels and in a hurry I found this place online and paid. What a joke. The staff at the deck is friendly. But the rooms are nasty. The first room the ac didn’t work, refrigerator wasn’t cooling, the sink didn’t drain. So, I was switch rooms. This one isn’t much better. Stains on the ceiling, old tv. And what is this freak in odor. Omg it stinks.
The guests here are questionable, one is a hooker that stays here long term and offered her services to my husband and I.
Thank god I only have another day. Never again
