Red Roof Inn

It was warm and available. Those are really the only pleasant things about my stay.
Front desk was curt, but otherwise professional.
The room
Second floor;Up the wooden stairs covered in ice (the first two steps had about 2 cups of salt on each, but higher than that? On your own buddy.)
My room was recently smoked in as evident by the cigarette ashes on the toilet seat and the smell.
My floor was sticky. You could hear the greasy slippery sticky noise my sneakers made.
I can’t say the hotel is to blame, but the other residents were loud until at least 1130pm.
I checked out early. I will not be staying again. Not with how many other similarly priced hotels in the area there are.

I stayed here for an extended weekend and had a really nice experience. The room was extremely clean, bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

One star only because the staff was friendly and it was inexpensive and clean. Zero stars for a multitude of reasons. We took a second room for additional family, but had to move to another room because of unfinished maintenance repair. The new room had only had one towel. After multiple trips to the front desk and long waits, I ask for two towels, but was told that I could only have one (are you kidding me!). The room above us had loud drunks (not pleasant for my kids). And I’m sure the Hampton Fire Marshal would like to know that the third floor fire hydrant is missing it’s hose. Don’t stay here there are a number of hotels near by for not much more money.

Red Roof Inn was close to where I needed to be and is in a very central location to shopping and dining. No frills but it was clean and quiet.
