We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Terry. Terry is very knowledgeable and thorough and he’s a great guy. He came to do an inspection on Christmas eve! This really helped as the holidays are a tough time to get anything done and we didn’t have many days we could do it. Terry did a lot of things that other inspectors don’t do, like crawl into tight spaces/​attics. He had a infrared camera that helped us determine what was going on behind walls with insulation and other things. We learned a lot about our soon-​to-​be home. Between the four hours he spent with us and the detailed report he gave us, we know what we’re going to fix first and we got the seller to take a little money off of the price. Terry did all this for a very reasonable price! He doesn’t have many online reviews yet but I think he will have tons of business before long. Thanks Terry!

My wife and I are in the process of buying our first home, an 1870’s antique colonial outside of Boston. We hired Terry to perform the inspection based on a recommendation from a friend. The report was very well-​written, and it included photographs with arrows highlighting problems along with helpful diagrams and intelligent explanations of why the problems should be addressed. It also included detailed information about how to care for many of the components of our new home, such as the boiler, the siding, the electrical box, and more. It is literally a home-owner’s manual that is custom-​written for our home!
I was especially impressed by his experience with older houses (100+ years old). And his thermal imager quickly helped to expose and identify the root causes of issues we never would have found otherwise. Terry’s inspection report helped me to convince the seller to accept $ 5k less than our initial offer!
