To sum it up, this place offers sweet hot dogs. So a regular hot dog drenched in some sweet sugar my sauces(sweet fruity relish and mustard). Fun to try once, but probably wouldn’t eat it again. Decent sized, will fill you up, good for lunch, but I’m not a big fan of all that sweetness on an otherwise savory hot dog.

Good place. My wife didn’t like hers as much but I thought my dog was tasty and I would eat another one. I hade a polish sausage with mild sauce, papaya relish and Hawaiian mustard. Delicious! My wife had

Aloha from Kauai! crunchy in the inside and lava flow with sauces! yummy! Passed by it on the way to farmers market and i promised myself to make a stop for some hot dogs. It was rainy and sunny at the same time but it was worth all the trouble. When i got inside i was greeted. Thank you to the helpful menu for showing you how to order, step by step. I got the veggie dog and the cashier instantly say it will take a bit longer and i said not a problem. Then i was stuck on the different fruit salsa so i asked and then got the mango habenero salsa. Also asked for ketchup, mustard and relish. Mango salsa Habenero Fire Veggie dog So the bun wasn’t too warm. Something about the bun there was some crunchy texture which i really liked. I was trying to cut back on the bun but it was too good to rip some of it off and throw it away. The veggie dog tasted like a regular hot dog, but at least i know it was made out of veggie. The mango salsa was very tasty and was overflowing in each bite. It was definitely saucy to keep it from dry. I did request habenero spicy but it was no where spicy, just a tad bit like a mild hot. I was hoping it to be on fire. The waiting for the veggie dog was a bit longer than the regular hot dog, maybe like 5 minutes longer. It was worth the wait. I believe it was about 10 dollars with a fresh squeezed lemonade. Lemonade Yes it is fresh squeezed! They have a half sugar or no sugar. I believe they use 2 whole lemons and then fill it with watcher and simple syrup. I got the half sugar and it was sweetened just right where it wasn’t too sugary. It was about 3 bucks or 3.5. It was really refreshing and great to wash down the veggie dog. Overall it was a fun experience, and fulfilled my hot dog cravings which is very rare. It was good to try the mango salsa which is yummy and sweet! Something very memorable about this place is the crunchy bun which i still can’t figure out whats in it to be so addictive. Again the veggie dog does take longer so if your in a hurry keep that in mind. Mahalo for reading and happy Unilocaling!

It’s a neater version of a hot dog. The bread is shaped tube-like with the hot dog slided in the middle. All the sauces and fixings fitted inside. The mango relish and the Hawaiian mustard were both on the sweeter side, a tad too sweet for my taste. The veggie dog was surprisingly good but at $ 7 is a little steep. The fresh squeezed lemonade is a nice touch, even with half sugar it is a bit too sweet for me still.

I ate here twice during my 5 day stay at the very pricey Kauai island. I got sick of paying big bucks for mediocre meals. Granted $ 7 for a hotdog isn’t cheap either but it’s not a average hotdog. I ordered the polish dog with the Hawaiian pineapple sauce and Hawaiian mustard. If you are looking for a nice snack without breaking bank like you do at all the other tourist trap spots on the island this place should make you happy. Order the freshly squeezed lemonade. It’s great.
