Not everyone is a fan of stopping while traveling. After all, the objective is to get from point A to point B, and most people like to do so as quickly as possible. I’m one of those people. However, sometimes you need a bite to eat, or you just need to stop and have a break. That’s where places like Little Sandy’s come in handy. If you’re passing through /by, and you’ve had just about as much McDonald’s, Burger King, or(insert fast food name here), then definitely try this place. No, the food isn’t mind blowing. In fact, it’s not even what I would call home cooking. It’s just diner food — With a small convenient store off to the side in a separate section. I got the crispy chicken sandwich, and in terms of said style of sandwich, it was pretty darn good. In fact, it was so good that I would definitely consider stopping here again if I pass by on my travels. With that said — No, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it, nor would I plan a trip specifically here just for it. It was good, but it wasn’t THAT good.

The food is pure home cooking. Anything with the sausage gravy is delicious. Service was kind and quick. This former bowling alley, drive in theatre roller rink has old rural kitch abound. One warning, the bathrooms(through the general store) are beyond gross. Enough to make a trucker gag.

Very friendly staff, Ham Steak with my breakfast was awesome, and service was SUPPER fast! Place was clean(utensils not rusty). Stopped in while traveling through from Baltimore to Indianapolis. Great relaxing down home decour. «I» personally like the traditional American«conservative» décor. Of course I am a fan of librty and freedom! Would DEFINITELY stop in again on next trip.

Really bad. A rusty spoon without charm or good food. The décor is probably bought at a nursing home surplus store, nothing looks clean and the menu is smothered in gravy literally and figuratively. Avoid it if you can or be sure not to stray away from eggs because you can’t screw it those up. The cole slaw was from last week, nothing is made in store or at least doesn’t taste fresh. I could go on but the smell of the dirty restrooms are making me dizzy.
