I called and asked do they have somebody to do ethnic hair i was told yes. I came in the Visalia office to get washed and straightened and left with a big knot off hair clumped together and was sent on my way. they didnt not finish the service and i still had to pay for their mess up. i now have to cut off half of my head from the root … All i can do is cry … i will never go there again

My sister went to get a haircut after many attempts at other places. I am by far very satisfied with the place. The wait was honestly a pain in the butt because they kept changing it. When we finally got there they said the lady wasn’t ready, they noticed I was really mad so they took my sister in ASAP. Although the beginning experience was horrible the outcome was amazing! My sister loved her hair and I really am considering a cut too. We live 2 hours away from here and I definitely will be back to get a haircut from Brittany! She was very kind and knows what she is doing.

So its back to school time and JCPenny is offering FREE haircuts for kids. That is great considering the economy and all the costs of sending kids back to school. BUUUUUUUT… You are better off just going elsewhere and paying for the haircut. The appointments are VERY limited and they are not ones that you can get within a day or two of calling, they are more like a week plus away. They say that you can walk-in, so thats what we tried to do. We get there and it didnt look too bad. I gave the childrens names and phone number. The lasy working there said the wait wouldnt be long, as they were having a lot of walk-outs. We took a seat and waited… and waited. After an hour my husband went up to see where we were on the list, the lady said there were 11 ahead of us. We had to do some other shopping for the kids so we asked that since they took our # could they please call us when we were next… they said NO that they dont do that. I asked why they took our # and she could not give me an answer. My guess is they will probably sell it to other companies. We went about our shopping anyways cause I knew they wouldnt go thru 11 other people, not counting appts, that fast. We returned to the Salon over another hour later and there were still 6 ahead of us. My husband decided to cut our losses and go elsewhere. I applaud JCPenny for doing what they did, it is great that they are helping families out. However I think they werent prepared for the hoards of people that were showing up. Maybe next time they can be better staffed, as when I was there there was only 1 person doing haircuts. Also maybe provide a little more seating, there were only about 4 chairs.

I like JcPenny! This one is small but i still like it!
