May not be perfect New York pizza, but it is pretty close! Two large fed 7 people with a piece or two left over!

I have been eyeballing flippin pizza for a while now since Im at this shopping center every weekend. FINALLY got the nerve to give it a try. I ordered the Bronx for my family. OMG it was sooooo good. The crust is EVERYTHING. The fresh garlic was a teeny tiny bit overwhelming, but not enough to mess it up for me. Next time I’ll ask for LIGHT garlic. The whole pizzas are HUGE. The service was great. I will be back!

The pizza here is amazing, for pizza alone, it would get 5 stars. but I was highly let down by the delivery service. We got one pizza and one soda, we ordered the pizza at 7:50.at 8:50, still no pizza, so we called and asked about it and they said it was on its way. about 20 mins later, our pizza got here, cold. not even slightly warm and they forgot my soda. So $ 22 for a cold pizza that took over an hour to get here and a soda that I didn’t get.

Best pizza I have had. Had white pizza tomato basil. It tastes so good that couldn’t resist taking one more box…

My first time ordering from this place, the pizza was cooked well and the toppings were awesome. I even took time out to post it on social media. Thought I found a gem in the pizzeria world but orders after that have been disappointing. The pizza always looks a day old or over cooked. I didn’t want to let one bad order experience ruin things but I’ve ordered 2 more times after that and haven’t had a decent pizza from there since. Therefore, I refuse to order and pay money from this location again. Not sure what you guys are doing but you need to get it all the way together.

Excellent job at recreating New York style pizza. Of course you shouldn’t expect New York style prices, but this pizza is well worth the price.

Pizza was decent, but some other things stood out. We ordered delivery in our hotel and clearly asked several times for some plates and forks and none came. Also we ordered a Caesar salad and they brought us a salad with absolutely no dressing. Kind of ridiculous.

I’ve gone to this location a few times since its location is close to home. I usually call in my order and pick it up on my way home. I guess overall there is nothing notable about this place. The service is quick but the employees barely speak more than two words to you if they don’t have to. The pizza is fine but the Calzones could use some help. a little too much cheese and not enough meat and sauce. There are other places in the area but if im in a rush and in the area, i’ll stop in for a slice but its not a place I would go out of my way for.

I consider myself an aficionado of pizza. I’ve had great pies and terrible pies in many styles and in many places. Flippin’ Pizza is the best pizza I’ve had in the Baltimore area. It’s sort of a cross between New York style, which is a bit chewier, and the classic Neapolitan style, though it isn’t baked in a wood or coal oven. The crust is very thin. The sauce is relatively sparse. The cheeses are very good, and the toppings are used judiciously. It’s perfect. I love that this place sells pizza, salads and calzones. That’s it. You can’t get chicken wings, 37 different sandwiches, jalapeño poppers or a bunch of other crap. Pizza is what they do, and they do it both beautifully and as it was intended.

Tried the place on a whim and was so rewarded with a new place to eat weekly of I can! The pizza was fast and thin, the lunch was only 6.13 + tax for two big New York slices, and a beverage! Score! I love it! Did I mention the service was fantastic cause it is!!!

Was visiting from NYC and was actually quite impressed with this pizza, which says a lot. Had the Bronx pie– freshly made. Was excellent.

Stopped in yesterday for a slice. $ 3.00 bucks for the smallest slice of pepperoni pizza that had 2 little round pieces of pepperoni on it. Barely any sauce and barely heated up. The average pie has 8 slices so they make $ 24.00 on a pie? Really? I wouldn’t mind if it was a decent size slice but I think they must get 9 – 10 slices out of a pie. On a good note and why I gave 2 stars was the crust which was very good. Won’t be going back again though, just too many great places to eat around here . Greedy owners — feeling ripped off.

It’s the closest thing to NY style I’ve found in the area. Definitely the best go-to for a quick slice or two of pizza. Prices can’t be beat! I recommend the triboro, buffalo chicken, & the white pizza(I think it is called something else though).

I went on a Tuesday and ordered the BOGO18″ pie special(between 4pm-7pm). Staff is okay. I didn’t find them rude, but didn’t think the guy at the front was great at his job, not very communicative. I ordered the Brooklyn red pie and the Tomato Basil white pizza to go. Unfortunately I failed to check the pizza before leaving, because when I got home I saw the Tomato Basil turned out to just be Tomato. It still tasted fine, but if they had run out of basil, they should’ve at least made a note and told me when I picked them up. The pizzas themselves are large NY slices, very thin crust, light on the sauce, good amount of cheese(not too little, but not so much it’s stringy). I liked both choices I got. The Brooklyn pie has small rounds of pepperoni with flat slices of meatballs and mushrooms, making it easy for every slice to have at least a few slices of meat. The Tomato pizza, although sauceless, wasn’t dry since it was balanced by the slices of juicy tomato on top. Strong garlic flavor, which I liked, and not thick and cheesy as you might expect from a sauceless pizza. Although thin, their hand-tossed dough doesn’t really crisp up super crunchy, so texture is so-so for the thinness, but taste-wise it’s not bad(someone else mentioned it was like cardboard, I didn’t find that at all in terms of taste). I agree with the other review that said they don’t look very appealing once the pizzas cool down. I found that true for the Brooklyn one, but it regains its color and still tastes great after reheating your leftovers following the box directions(preheat at 450°, but don’t leave it in too long or the cheese will burn and turn hard). Overall, I think this place isn’t bad, just on the expensive side. It’s close to where I live, so for me it’s a good alternative when I don’t want the greasiness of Pizza Hut and Domino’s. And I feel like they put just the right amount of sauce. I don’t like a thick layer of red sauce, and theirs is thin, so the crust doesn’t get soggy. This might be a plus or a con, depending on your preference. Their menu also has good options for vegetarians.

GREAT pizza. Nothing like Dominos or Pizza Hut — this is authentic, hand made and delicious. You can always tell when the pizza is high quality when the bottom is just crisp enough without drying out the whole thing. These guys are on point. I HIGHLY recommend the Whitestone pizza — Ricotta and pizza are a match made in heaven!!! PROTIP!!! Go on Mondays or Tuesdays between 4:00pm and 7:00pm for buy one pie get one free. Can’t beat it.

Stopped for a slice of pizza. A bug crawled out from under my it when I picked it up. Their solution was to offer me another slice from the same pizza! Ugh. One would think they would either offer a refund or at least make me something fresh. Not even an apology. And they left the rest of the pie in the warmer!!! Wow. Disgusting… First and last visit.

I’ve been ordering from Flippin pizza occasionally over the last year. Not all their pizzas are bad, but I’ve had a bad experience the past few times. Last week, we ordered, they delivered the pizza, but half the cheese had slid off the pizza. We called, they offered to make another, we declined and asked for a credit for next week. This week, we made the same order, reminded them of the credit, they confirmed our address and said 25 – 30 minutes for delivery. 40 minutes later, we called just to check on it, they said it was sitting on the shelf waiting for us to come get it??? It’s not the first time that they failed to put the order in as delivery and I had to go pick it up. I drove down there, picked up the pizza and didn’t check it. Other places like 3 brothers and Ledo’s will often show you the pizza when you pick it up to make sure it’s right. Flippin just handed me the box, no discussion or even apology for me having to pick up a pizza that should have been delivered, or for the last pizza that was screwed up. He asked me if I wanted any cheese or peppers, he handed me the cheese and I walked out. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized the pizza was burnt, and had gotten cold from sitting so long on their shelf. I live right down the street, so it wasn’t a long drive. It’s unlikely that I will order from them again.

I go here for the fast lunch special of 2 slices and a drink. The pizza is always good the staff is always nice. If you are in a rush and want some pizza by the slice, this is the place to hit. There is limited seating so if you want to stay to enjoy your pizza, get there before the lunch rush or go after. Either way, you’ll be happy to have had a slice or two. Thanks for reading my review. This review is based off of my personal experience and opinion.

I went for lunch to take advantage of the $ 3.79 two slices and drink lunch special. This is located near a Safeway(major landmark) and next to a Panera and Starbucks. The place is smallish with a number of tables and a ‘bar’ for dining in. The drink machine is tucked in the back of the restaurant kind of out of the way. You can choose from any kind of pizza you want for your lunch special slices, and luckily they had the two types I wanted available(Brooklyn and Tomato/Basil/Garlic.) The pizza is a decent sized slice, and nice and flat(as you’d expect from NY style). The crust was crunchier than I’d expected, but was very good. The pizza toppings were great. The thing they did really well was garlic. I just love garlic and they don’t skimp. Now in my opinion it’s not overwhelming, but the garlic is definitely VERY present. Just delicious. I went for lunch, and am grabbing two pies to take home for dinner(it’s buy one get one free from 4pm to close). So yeah, it’s tasty!

This is the reason I’m on Unilocal. You guys got me here, otherwise, I probably would have never heard or tried it. It’s a small place with a walk up counter. They are very prompt and friendly. I ordered two slices($ 6 get you that and a fountain drink) and by the time I got seated, my pizza was already reheated. Thin and crispy is my favorite type of pizza and this is definitely in that category. When I was in NYC, I tried multiple NY style pizza and like it. Their pizza was more floppy and could fold easy. This was not the case here, but I stress I like my crust crispy. The meat toppings were perfectly cooked, just a teeny burnt on the edges. Great. What kind of disappointed me was the flavor of the sauce. I could barely taste anything. I would come back, but after eating pizza all over this country and in Italy, Rome and Naples(where pizza was invented), this is not the best. It could have been better with a tastier sauce.
