Randy’s Genuine Military Surplus

Nobody likes wasting time; the only thing I dislike more is other people wasting my time. Made two trips out here (2hr) total commute. I called, I text, knocked on the businesses door, and knocked on the houses door in front of the business. I finally received a text message last night confirming he will be here around 11. It snowed last night and made it here at 11:28 AM (honestly a lot later than I wanted). It’s now noon and I am in the same predicament as I was yesterday. There’s nobody here. I tried to buy from a local US business owner instead of give my business to corporate America /​China (Amazon, EBay, etc.) .
This experience definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be back.
I’ve paid the man in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I do not like wasting time. This experience was a waste of time.

The store is located in a residential neighborhood, which makes the turn off for it difficult to spot and the private store which is a converted garage might seem small from the outside. However it actually has a great variety of uniforms, gear and equipment from all the military branches. This is a great place to check out if you are missing equipment for supply/​CIF turn in. It is certainly better to get any missing/​lost equipment replaced, rather than deal with the long and annoying paperwork process for missing equipment. Also it cost way more to be charged by the military. It is run by a retired Army LTC, so he is very knowledgeable and helpful with finding exactly what you are looking for. They carry authentic military gear at very reasonable prices. When we were searching for gear, we had checked the other stores in the area that were listed as Military Surplus but they didn’t really have a great selection of actual military items. They had what I would describe as more commercial tactical gear for civilian use.
I would suggest calling first before dropping by or call them if you get there and the store doesn’t seem open. It is a private business and even though their hours are listed as 7 days a week from 9am-​6pm, They still might have the doors closed if it is a slow day but they are just next door to open shop.
