Mike’s House of Pizza

Best experience I’ve had in the Pembroke/​Hanson area to date. The service is great, very welcoming. The food is tasty and the portions are great. Make sure you try the beer battered shrimp… a delight.

Sorry but not a fan of this place. Ordered pizza and it was horrible. Hamburg was very strange texture and taste. Green pepper and onion had very few toppings. Crust was bad too. Have ordered subs here before and again not at all impressed. Italian was far from being what I would have expected as Italian — mostly Bologna.

Every time we are in town we insist on ordering Mike’s. The pizza is so good and the staff is very friendly. Inexpensive as well. Never disappointment.

I think some of the negative reviews are confusing the one in Hanson with another Mikes Pizza. I know there is more than one.

Been going to Mike’s since they were across the street next to Curtis Compact now known as Tedeschi’s. Pizza is O.K., subs are better.

They make good subs & service is always great. Staff is very pleasant, which is rare. It’s always a nice experience.

Hands down the best pizza in Hanson/​Whitman area, but to be honest there isn’t much competition. They definitely do it well though, sauce to cheese ratio is well played and crust is perfect texture. Order more than you think you need because you’ll want left overs for lunch.

Just want to start of by saying I updates this post at 7÷23÷2014 so I call in and I asked for three different subs and I know that I called hanson cause I used to eat there all day. So I come in and ask for my order. the old lady with the rotten teeth and purple highlight in her hair with blue eyes brunette said to me in a b$&&y attitude I don’t got no order here ! Did you order here ! and I said yes she told me to go get my phone and show her were I called her on ON MY PHONE are you kidding me? go get my phone? What good is it that I get my house phone and show them like really? just remake the order how bout that. they were busy that day and I understand that they might have forgot but there’s no need for attitude and I told her you took my order and she told me how do you know it was me. I told her we’ll hello your the only one with a b!&$)y attitude and. Raspy voice that sounds like she smokes 100 Newport and been ridden and put away wett anyhow… she told me in a attitude to come over here to take your Oder wow So I went to her she was being just plaine rude taking the order saying she can’t hear me funny when I called and placed the order she said the same exact thing and so I called her b$@&$ and the whole alphabet honestly shes a looser whose 45 yrs whoseworking In a restaurant that claims to be hers and that short ratty looking guysaid in a accent get out here !! And the lady with the chipped teeth that yelled at me and started Lot of drama followed me outside with her workers like if she was going to fight me! Seriously she wanted to fight me! her attitude to me was unprofessional that the guys behind me looked at her like what are you doing? like seriously clearly not professional especially that ratty looking Lady with chipped teeth your pathetic I’m happy that your customer service Is crappy your running out of business and people and I hope your happy that you chased me out the door like a criminal with three other employees really but clearly your the criminal yelling at me and giving attitude to your customers I’m not the first you yelled at hopefully not the last to tell that rat to go piss of @mikes pizza rude people and customers service and rude RAT lady hey rat lady I got a number you can call 1800 see you next Tuesday meth toto lips: D

Really like this place. For those who live in the hanson/​halifax area, you know decent local restaurants are scarce/​non-​existent. Definitely the best subs in the area (cheap too!). The calzones and pizza are really good too. I order from here often and would definitely recommend. the only thing i dont like about Mike’s is that they dont deliver (also, I was kind of let down by the steaktips, but im really picky!).

Mike’s is consistently good. The calzones are awesome and the chunky marinara is a great dipping sauce. I ask for the steak and cheese calzone with hot sauce and BBQ sauce (like DP Dough) and these guys do it right… only two times bigger. The tuna garden salad has a ton of tuna on it. I have never had a bad pizza from Mike’s. The buffy fingers are best on a salad and the wing dings are like candy. They’re head and shoulders above the competition in the area. Oh and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Been buying food here since the 1980’s. They have the best pizza and toasted subs in the Hanson area. No delivery, but well worth going to get it. Excellent, friendly, high quality, family run, top notch local business. Easily, the best restaurant of its type within 50 miles of its location.

For a greek style pizza you can’t get much better, I like their subs too really nice soft bread and they have great steak subs.

I love mikes, been going there for Almost 25 years ! Roast beef with everything. toasted !!
