This location seemed to be lacking employees? There was no register opened at the men’s department, there was clothes on the ground. The only register opened was in the women’s department oh and the line was a little long. I actually changed my mind on 2 thinks while waiting in line resulting in them losing 25 bucks!

I am a little over 6 feet tall, and skinny. H&M knows that«large» means large lengthwise. Not large width wise. I feel like I am wearing shirts that actually fit me. Most other clothing stores for men, produce shirts that are very wide in the waist. Whenever I raise my arms, I become«Batman». So, I like the styles and the prices. Just last winter, I found the wool P coat I was looking for. And it was only around $ 100. Yeah… the lines sometime suck, but it’s worth it.

This place is kind of a toss up. Some days I’ll come in and find a closet full of great clothes to buy, and other days I leave shaking my head. I’m an average size 28 year old woman and I can generally find a cute top when I look hard enough. I was in last week and the woman who helped me was super helpful and took me right where I needed to go.

This place is hit and miss. Sometimes the staff is helpful, but most of the time, the staff is incredibly rude. They either look angry because you want to buy something, or they treat you like an idiot for buying something. It’s always been a disaster there, and you constantly feel like you’re in the way of the employees… You know, since every other place on the planet, some people have manners, but here you’ll get cut off and pushed around because they’re in such a big rush«working» that you can’t shop. Anyways, this last experience I had was one of my least favorites. I had a 40% off coupon for subscribing to H&M emails(luckily they have more than one location in Portland). I go in, and I didn’t realize that it’s crazy at the mall because of Veteran’s Day sales. So there’s mayhem in the stores. The lines are extremely long and there are people everywhere. One line is completely stopped because the girl at the register is on the phone for one of the customers. She looks like her patience is wearing off for sure. She has her arms crossed while holding the phone up and her body’s is sorta rocking because you can tell she’s probably tapping her foot or something twitchy. The other girl is ringing people up somewhat quickly. While waiting in line, I heard the girl on the phone direct everyone that there’s only one line… Which is how it should be so that the next customer goes to the next available register… But not all stores have that kind of brilliance. So I get into the one major line… And then the girl at the other register waits a few minutes and says, «There’s two lines.» So everyone splits into two lines and the girl on the phone asks the customers she’s helping to step aside while she rings people up AND waits on the phone. I’m in line with the girl that isn’t on the phone, and when I get up to her, I hand her my one item that I want 40% off of. She looks at it and calls for help. Why? She said that only one of the items has a price tag. So I tell her that that’s because it’s a set… And she’s like, «Well, I don’t know that so she’s going to check for me,» referring to whoever she called over. I waited a few minutes and then said, «I know where they are. I can grab like, 5 of them if that helps.» I go to grab them and a second before me, another employee grabs all of them. She hands the size I wanted back over to me, and then I bring the ONE back up the register. The cashier girl didn’t even see other ones, but she rang me up for the one item… And then she goes to pull off the censor and it’s pinching BOTH items in the set together… Yeah, girl. I totally put the censor on both of those to try to rip you guys off. Thanks for not know your merchandise AND not using common sense. If you’re wondering which one she is, she’s the girl with the long brown hair that talks rudely to people, constantly treating everyone like they’re in her way of ever being happy.
