I was excited when I heard this little park was opening, then deeply disappointed to hear dogs were not allowed. We don’t go to outdoor places where we can’t bring our dog, so have never been back even though we live very close by.
If it weren’t for this, it’s a nice place to hang out, but very short on walking opportunities. You can walk the whole thing in 10 minutes.

It took me a while to get here, because once again I depended on Siri for good directions. Finally I just found a sign and went there (thanks again, Siri). This place is neat. We went there for Scouts’ Mud Mayhem and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a beautiful place.

What a wonderful place for little nature-​lovers: our 6– and 4-​year old kids could find there mushrooms, several ant-​houses, magic-​colored birds, a deer, squirrels and many other interesting things in the evening. Pretty lonely, but a safe place — on our way out we met a police car with a welcoming policeman who gladly advised us 2 other parks nearby, we reported him that we did behave well and that there were no accidents during our staying and no other people left after us:):):) Highly recommended place!!!

No dogs allowed. Boo. I don’t care if it’s really pretty and lush. I got a golden retriever and he’s not gonna stay home when we go out for outdoor adventures!

I love this little nature park. Metro has done a great job. There is a mile of trail, up one side and down the other, with artistic benches placed at various places along the path. I jog here 3 times a week and have seen numerous birds, chipmunks, and a family of 3 deer. Not the greatest hike of all time, but it’s perfect to add a little nature and exercise into your day. The view of Mt Hood from the pavilion is excellent, and there are many picnic tables and a lush green lawn to stretch out. No dogs allowed, but that’s what dog parks are for.
