A Vermont Place

Loved the ambiance! The bar is pretty standard with good local beer on tap, the dining room has craft wooden chairs and tables that give it a very log cabin feel.
We ordered a plate of fried mac and cheese fritters and fried pickles to start, with the local hot sauce they gave us, they were stellar. We got two state fair burgers which are made with local grass fed beef. I ordered medium rare and my burger was served medium well, which is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars. For dessert, a slice of carrot cake that is from a local bakery around the corner called Magic Spoon. It was some of the best carrot cake I ever had!
The service was great. Karen our server was super friendly, chatted with us and gave us some recommendations on where to visit on our ride home.
Overall, solid stop for dinner and a beer after skiing.

Raw veggie burger, burnt sweet potato fries, fried dough was also raw… Impressive. Adding insult to injury, coffee refills weren’t free but was not told until the bill arrived. Expensive and extremely disappointed.

Everything was delicious! And as 99% of products are from Vermont it makes the experience incredible knowing you are truly a part of the farm to table experience!
Even better as someone who likes to recreate recipes at home I love that they sell the sauces and products you need right there in the restaurant. I bought some of the Vermont Siriachi
And can’t wait to use it!
Service was also great. Sever was very helpful and I think at least two of the cooks asked me how I enjoyed my meal. It’s always nice to find people who care about your experience!
I think the table favorite was the pulled pork but I would order literally every other plate we tried!

We can’t say enough about their State fare burger with grass-​fed beef. Simply delicious! The organic meat makes a huge difference. Try it with the blue cheese from Jasper hill farm.
We had lunch there and only wished they had steak for dinner. (the menu for lunch is same for dinner). Would definitely go back!

Great tasting quality food. Glad to see a great place come into the area. It’s a little hard to see on the strip and doesn’t really stand out so I wonder if they’re missing out on potential business.
Grabbed their burrito with local beef and siracha hot sauce. Delicious. Wish it was a little bigger. Will be back for Taco Tuesday!
