Well this was our first visit and we had read the reviews and looked at the pictures everyone had posted and was very excited to go here, but we ended up very disappointed. First we ordered the brussels sprouts which where ok plus goat cheese which was good and also got the fried chicken but it came out way overdone as in chewy. We all ordered burgers, I got the mexican war, kids did build a burger and the wife had one also. All orders had fries except one got Mac and cheese. Burgers were very thin but tasted good, Mac and cheese was good too but the fries where over down also. For what they charge for a burger I expected a larger patty. Our bill came to 115 and some change and I feel that is way over what this should of cost. 13 bucks plus for a 3 to 4 ounce burger is ludicrous and plus the fries being overdone I will have to say we won’t be back, we so wanted this to be better.

Very impressed by the cheese fries and burgers. It’s a very small place and large parties would fare better going at off-peak times. We only go at 3 or 4pm on a weekend because waiting for a table later isn’t an option. There is no where to wait! You just stand at the hostess station until something opens up. The burgers come with a choice of fries or little side salad, or you can add slaw or mac and cheese for an up-charge. The shakes were a disappointment for the price. The first time we went, we spent over $ 25 alone for four milkshakes, two of which were bland and too watery. We will stick to the food and craft beers. Really worth the ride to Zelie if you want a fresh burger with local ingredients. The place isn’t well marked. It’s in the small plaza across the street from the Bi-Lo grocery store.

This place may have made it to the top of my list as one of the best burger restaurants. A major plus: they are farm to table and use local grass-fed beef for their burgers. And the prices aren’t completely outrageous($ 12 for a burger and fries) like the prices places in the city will charge for grass-fed beef. I heard from a few friends who live up north that this place had amazing burgers but I never made my way all the way up to Zelienople to give it a try. It’s quite out of the way for city folks, being that it’s an hour drive from Pittsburgh. It’s a hike but the burgers are worth it. Burgh’ers is tucked away in a little strip mall. The gps took us through the main drag of Zelienople and by the looks of the neighborhood, you would think it’s gonna be nestled in between an antique store and the local florist shop or something like that but it’s not! You’ll drive into an inconspicuous area so be sure to look out for the strip mall; it’s in there! Although the windows are tinted quite dark making it look like it’s closed, don’t be fooled because it’s open! Anyway, onto my favorite part: the food! Per our waitress, most popular are«Maggie’s Farm» and«Mexican War» and her favorites are«Maggie’s Farm» and«Bloomfield.» I got the burger that made both lists, «Maggie’s Farm» and the hubby got the«Pitt’s Burger.» The Maggie’s Farm was rather sweet from caramelized onions but spicy from horseradish and chiles. But the creaminess and smokiness of Gouda cuts down on the spice which made a beautiful harmony of flavors. The Pitt’s Burger was rich from the creamy cole slaw but the most unexpected bit of goodness was the basil. You don’t usually see basil as a burger topping but the use of basil on this burger made it so much more special than a cheeseburger with slaw and pickles. Burgers are served on buttery brioche buns and they come with your choice of salad or fries. Fries are fresh-cut(thinly) and salads are mixed greens topped with blue cheese chunks. Even the side salads here are fancier than average! Burgh’ers also has a nice selection of local beers and craft cocktails. Overall, I love this place. I just wish it wasn’t an hour away!

Went here with some coworkers on a Friday afternoon. I was excited to hear that this is a farm to table restaurant and that others have really raved about their food and the grass fed beef. The restaurant has an almost barn like feel to it and mostly everything in it is wooden giving it a nice country feel. The burgers on the menu are all named after places in Pittsburgh, like the«Polish Hill burger» that my coworker got. I ended up getting the Animal burger which had cream cheese and jalapeño on it. The beef tasted distinctly different and really made the burger. The fries were fresh cut and very tasty as well! As we were leaving I had to try the chocolate milk shake… Really amazing! Next time I’m back I will have to get a milkshake with my meal. This place offers some simple and unique food with a cool atmosphere. You definitely pay a little more here, but you get a really great meal in return. I’ll definitely be back with my family especially since my Dad loves burgers and milkshakes!

We went to dinner here on a week night around 6:30 pm and were able to be seated right away. I ordered the Special of the Day Burgher which was beef, cheddar, egg, pickle, jalopeno, BBQ Sauce, and bacon. The bacon was cooked perfectly. There is nothing like thick and crispy bacon and this place does it right. I opted to take the BBQ sauce on the side, and was glad I did because I didn’t care for it. I got it cooked medium well and thought it was cooked perfectly. The side salad was so fresh and delicious. My girlfriend ordered the Pittsburgher(beef, Coleslaw, Onion, cheese, special sauce) and a side of fries. She ordered the burger medium-well and said that she had some pink in the middle still, but was pleased nonetheless. The fries were also fresh cut and very tasty! I didn’t try any of the milkshakes but they sounded so good! I will definitely be back.

OMG! The absolute best chicken sandwich I have EVER had! I had the build your own burger(only with chicken) with bacon, mushrooms, and their special sauce on a fabulous bun! Fresh cut fries were fantastic also! Service was friendly and fast. Received our food quickly. I will definitely be stopping here again!

We go to Burghers a lot and we have never been disappointed. The food is not your average food you would think to find at a burger restaurant. They have a variety of meats to choose from as well as different suggestions to have your meal prepared. They always have a special game meat along with the beef, chicken and veggie option. Their Rosemary fries are my Favorite. And they use food from local farms which is awesome to see local businesses do. And they have a Great craft beer selection. The staff is so nice and helpful. It has become one of our favorite places to eat!

My kids and I went here on Wednesday evening, we got seated right away. Since it was a beautiful November evening, people were sitting outside. I had the grilled cheese and fries, both my kids built their own burgers. All I have to say is amazing… best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. The pickles make the sandwich, I keep thinking about it. The fries were also good, especially dipped in their homemade ranch. My kids loved their food, we ate everything on our plate. We wish they had something better for dessert, but hands down, the food is amazing. It’s definitely worth the stop!

Everything was delicious! We got the chili cheese fries and the pittsburger. I have nothing negative to say. The best part is that it’s only a ten minute drive from my home. Will be visiting again!

This is my go to place for a great hamburger! We always get the rosemary fries. We also like the barbecue aioli for dipping the fries. I like their mixed drink menu. It has different drinks and they are always good!

For a couples years now I have been trying to find a burger place that can rival Burghers, and I my search is not going well. This place is to die for! I think by now I have probably had every burger on the menu and each one is better than the next. I would personally recommend the hamptons or the Mexican war(if you like spicy). The service is always prompt, polite, and I always have a great experience. The price is perfect for the quality of food you revive. If you have not yet tried burghers you should ASAP!

I was very pleased that the wait staff went into great detail about how much pink I wanted left in my burger. I felt completely understood and believe my burger was perfect because of it. I’m dining low carb these days and was happy that they had a romaine wrap option listed on the menu. Would give it a 3 for location just because I had to drive from Beaver County. Put one closer.

Holy crap this place is good. The only downside is that it’s a little out of the way. I ordered the Hampton Burger and must say its one of the best I ever had. This place may be better than Burgatory! It’s the same quality food with a little bit more creativity and no wait. Highly recommended!

What a great little find on a random night in Harmony thanks to Unilocal.I had the Harmony burger and my «date» had the Mexican war burger. She left the green chilies off of hers to reduce the heat but I kept them on the Harmony. Both were outstanding. Also loved the fries. Very nice selection of local and national craft beers as well. If you’re in the area you can’t go wrong. The wait staff is friendly and just the right amount of attentive as well. We’ll be back.

The Burgers are some of the best I have ever had. The taste of meat and spices is second to none. I prefer a more firm burger that doesn’t crumble as easy but it is a minor drawback. I also wish they would provide the option of iceberg lettuce which is my preference and gives some crispness to a burger.

I had heard about Burgh’ers and how delicious the burgers here were so this past Friday, my boyfriend and I ventured on the thirty minute drive north to partake in the alleged deliciousness. We almost drove right by it as it’s in a strip mall-not exactly where you would think a gourmet burger joint would be located. So we went in and it was packed, although it is a very small space so that seems like it must be the case most of the time. We initially put our name in for a table, but we noticed 2 seats at the bar becoming empty so we just decided to sit there for the evening. The bartender was quick and friendly. They had a nice selection of craft beer on draft and I chose a Full Pint White Lightening as did my boyfriend. I noticed in addition to the regular food menu, they had some specials. A camel burger was the wild game burger of the night. They also had a dish containing veal brains. And a pumpkin salted caramel milkshake. We both decided to just stick with regular menu items. I went with the«Hamptons» Burger(smoked gouda, bacon, caramelized onion, BBQ aioli, roasted chilies). I like they give you the option of a side salad or fries. I went with the fries but the side salads looked like they had craisins and blue cheese on them so they were a little above the norm. The fries were very salty but they were pretty good. The burger was the ABSOLUTEBEST burger I have ever eaten in Pittsburgh! The bacon was very thick, the carmelized onions plentiful, the chilies not overpowering. And it was cooked to perfection at a medium temp. It was pretty messy to eat but it was well worth it. My boyfriend went with the familiar-the«Shadyside» Burger(swiss, bacon, caramelized onion, sautéed mushroom, mayo), also with fries. He said it too was the best burger he has eaten in Pittsburgh. The burgers are a little steep at $ 11.99 each but the quality is very consistent with the price point. They also have a BYO option in addition to other sandwiches, craft hot dogs, and other appetizers. I highly recommend visiting Burgh’ers even though it is 30 minutes away it’s well worth the drive up north.

We decided on burgers and were up for somewhere new. I pulled out the trusty phone and checked my Unilocal app… we chose Burgh’ers. Thank you fellow Unilocalers for the reviews! We chose well! The service was terrific! The food, oh my! Best burgers we have had in a very, very long time. I got a build your own with a beef burger cooked medium with smoked Gouda and avocado with the rosemary french fries. The Burger was done perfectly! It was juicy and delicious! The hubby got the Morningside with egg and bacon minus the cheese and was a very happy man! We also got a plain hot dog to split. oh yum! It was just fabulous all around! We will most certainly go back!

Defiantly one of the best burgers in Pittsburgh! While in the area the girls and I decided to try Burgh’ers. I just have one thing to say… OUTSTANDING! They are located in Harmony PA(Get off at the Zelienople exit on I-79.) in a small strip mall that can be easily missed as I did. Once I found it and parked we were quickly seated and drink orders taken by Zachary. He was great. They offer craft cocktails, beer, wine, hot dogs, sandwiches and of course burgers. I really like the fact that they use local farmers. While waiting for our burgers I stopped at the bar and talked to the bartender Dee. She was very nice. Before I knew it our food was coming to the table. We all ordered the Shadyside Burger(Swiss cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms and mayo.) We added lettuce, tomato, pickles and bbq aioli as our free toppings. The burger was cooked perfectly and as ordered. It was juicy and served on a nice warm bun. You could really taste the freshness and quality of the meat. All hot dogs, sandwiches and burgers include fries or mixed green salad. You can also upgrade to rosemary fries for $ 1 more or to mac & cheese or coleslaw for $ 2 more. My wife and I had the rosemary fries which were really good, but not as good a Burgatory’s fries. I also like the fact that the drinks come in bottles so taking them with you is much easier than asking for a to go cup. IMHO, as of right now Burgh’ers is the number one burger in Pittsburgh followed by Burgatory in second.
