When you go to Applebee’s, you know what to expect. Fun, sports bar like atmosphere and GREAT food. That’s what you get here. Now I’ll go into why I only gave it 4 stars.
My favorite appetizer at Applebee’s is the spinach and artichoke dip. So of course we ordered it and it was great as usual. Then the entrees came. My boyfriend and I always share our entrees. He order the half rack, and it was good. I ordered the 4 cheese mac-​n-​cheese with honey glazed chicken tenders… this dish was a disappointment. The chicken was flavorful and yummy, but the mac-​n-​cheese part was VERY bland. This is the only meal I’ve had at this chain that I haven’t liked.
Even though I probably won’t be ordering that dish again, this Applebee’s location will continue to be a regular spot for us. The service is great, everyone has a smile on their faces, and the wait staff is very attentive.

Service was terrible. We had a fairly large group (4 adults, 5 kids), but the restaurant was fairly empty for a Saturday evening. It appeared other tables were being served ahead of ours. When the food finally arrived, it was delivered sporadically. Pretty poor, even by Applebee’s standards.

Saw an Applebee’s commercial for a for a large steak smothered in shrimp, etc and immediately called for a carry out. Got home and to my surprise, steak was roughly the same size as my fork! 1 oz maybe? See 12th pic. Do I really need to open all bags and containers every time I get a carry out???

I will not be visiting this place again. Me and my boyfriend both ordered Trios with Bone-​In Buffalo Wings, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Sliders, and Won-​ton Tacos. We were seated and 15 minutes later someone came to take our order. She brought me the wrong drink and we didn’t see her again until the food came out 15 minutes later. The wings were overdone, the spinach and artichoke dip wasn’t as good as other Applebee’s I’ve been too either. Bad service and worse food.

The food is just ok, it’s priced well though. Service is ok, but they took FOREVER to get our drinks to us and brought out items at random times… 5 minutes to get my drink… another drink 5 min later… then another 5 minutes later… 10 minutes later my S/​Os salad… 10 minutes later MY salad… luckily all our entrees came out at the same time. But my main gripe is the fact that they NO longer sing Happy Birthday to customers. They will give them a free dessert, but it was a big disappointment that the whole reason we went out to eat on my son’s third b-​day was so he could get excited when the people came out to sing just for him. They said it was something corporate and new chain-​wide (or maybe only locally). Boo! People want to take God out of the pledge of allegiance, take nativity scenes off lawns, and now they want to take birthday songs out of the family-​friendly «neighborhood bar & grill»??? Damn. Times are not what they used to be… shameful.

My former 4th grade student that i taught over 20 years ago, got in touch with me and took me out to Applebee’s for lunch. How great is that!
Our waitress was friendly. The food was good. It appeared as though there weren’t enough servers/​waitresses in the restaurant.
Services was a little too slow. I selected choose two. My choice was chilly and a shrimp salad. Yummy.

You’ve been to Applebee’s, right? Well then, you know what to expect as far as food. The menu is full of great, tasty stuff, things that are pretty much guaranteed to get you full. However, the service is what makes or breaks a chain restaurant. You see those 4 stars overhead? Then you know where I’m going with this. I come to this particular Applebee’s every once in a while, so I’m used to the menu, and I can honestly say that it’s hard to find an item that doesn’t hug and kiss your taste buds. The service here is pretty good also. I, personally, haven’t had a bad experience yet with a server, however my girlfriend says that one time she came in with her cousin and had a less than desirable time. I suppose you have to expect it at least once from any place that you go, and it didn’t hinder her from wanting to go back.
Like I said before, I know the food, but the service is what keeps me coming back.
