Great sandwiches and a friendly staff! The store looks like something you would find up north. We love to pick up sandwiches before we head out onto the lake. Give it a try for a quick lunch and you will not be disappointed.

Like many of the places that I visit these days, my 1st time here was only because I read good reviews about it on Unilocal.Thank you to all the people that wrote reviews, because my experience here was much anticipated and every bit as good as I expected. There isn’t much of a storefront presentation here. Located along one of the new bike paths in Harrison Township, the business is in a former residence, but it is well-laid out and I found my lunchtime here well spent. Upon walking in the front door, I was presented with a wall menu to pick from. Since I was running with a little Goober, I kinda had to think about not only what I wanted to eat, but also what Mr. Picky Eater might be coaxed to eat. We ordered our meals and headed to the seating out on the lawn — literally, out on the fenced-in side lawn. They have both patio and lawn seating available, as well as indoor seating. With pleasant surroundings no matter where you sat, it made for a very relaxed setting to enjoy a nice meal. I highly recommend sitting outside if you have the opportunity — there are so many things set about the yard to see. A rabbit was spotted frolicking in the garden a few feet from us while we ate. A candelabra with real candles sits in the sun and the candles have all drooped over — kinda neat. Their craft sandwiches are excellent, or at least the two we ate. OK, I ate mine, and the 2nd half of Goober’s. He isn’t much into finishing his plate these days, as he is a 2nd grader without an adult appetite. We didn’t have to wait long for our meals, but the two gals working that day were certainly keeping busy with all the lunchtime orders. Both were cordial, and pleasant service was received. As I sat at our table, I couldn’t help but notice that we were the only males dining there at the time. Yeah, you probably won’t find too many burly truckers stopping in for lunch there. This was my first visit, but I know it won’t be my last. The menu is a little more pricey than a fast food joint, but I believe I received good value for my money spent. Parking is a bit sparse — the only detractor. Oh, and it snows here in the winter, so if you sit out on the lawn, you might want to dress accordingly.

this place is amazing, the food is amazing, I just love it. we try to get it often before going to the boat, but sadly it’s NEVER open! the hours are so silly. I wish it was open more often because I’d rather pay for a great sandwich here than $ 8 for a gross buscemis sub. I would give 5 stars but the hours really depress me

In this day and age of fast food franchises popping up everywhere it’s really nice to find a homemade food restaurant with its own charm and variety. Today I had a Manhattan(corned beef on marbled rye with Russian dressing and coleslaw) that was absolutely delicious with potato salad. They have seating for about 12 inside but on a nice day another 20 or so could sit out in an eclectic collection of seating in both shade & sun. They also bake & cater. The cream puffs were good as we’re the pistachio cookies.

This place is awesome! Home made soups and sandwiches. The chicky chicky was delicious! It was chicken salad with toasted almonds and dried cherries. Service is very quick and the staff was very friendly. There is seating for 10 at tables and they have more chairs if needed. Great atmosphere and classy music playing. You can call in for your food. Even saw the mail woman come in to pick up her lunch. She proclaimed this as the best part of her day. I’d have to agree!

Half baked was awesome from order to delivery! We had a cake on top and cupcakes all around for my March 29, 2014 wedding at Addison Oaks. Everyone loved the cupcakes and we still cut the cake and kept for freezer. She gave us great advice to half take home cupcake boxes(which a ton of ppl did and loved the option). Great price & outstanding service and product. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for yummy cakes or cupcakes.

I decided to do something different for my bridal shower and half baked helped me achieve it! Sharon made custom cookies in the shapes of dresses, purses, & heels which I gave away as gifts. She also did the same for my wedding which I put on the table as thank you gifts. Not only were they excellent to eat, I had complements from everyone on how cute an idea it was. While at the store, I also took advantage of their shop and purchased adorable aprons for my bridesmaids. I have nothing but positive things to say about their bake goods, sandwiches, & store. If you haven’t been before– you need to check it out!

I give credit where credit is due. This place is awesome. She has made me 3 specialty cakes so far that are a bargain vs big box stores who can only give you a rectangle w someones name on it. She’s made me a lighthouse cake for my moms 50th. Everybody loved it. A Halloween witch hat for my wife’s birthday(3D cake) and a Barbie cake for my mother in laws birthday. I always get the devils food cake w buttercream frosting. The sandwiches are tremendous and as a previous reviewer wrote I am also a sandwich snob and have no tolerance for crappy sammiches. Lemon bars are tremendous(my wifes favorite) but nothing tops Sharon’s carrot cake and it is my absolute favorite of all. The kids always try something different and of course I sample it first, to make sure there’s no poison. We all love it. Recommend this place to all your friends for cakes and goodies… unless you like out of the way sub par goodies. I am sure glad this place is no longer a gun shop!!!

I cant say enough about this place. The employees are always so pleasant and personalize the experience every time I go. Half Baked has baked goods, which are absolutely delicious in every way. Fresh, made by hand with pride and care, delicious, and priced right. They also have an array of homemade sandwiches, I LOVELOVE their chicken salad sandwich. Its the best chicken salad Ive ever eaten in my entire life(and Im a chicken salad SNOB). Its worth a trip to check it out! I always brag about Half Baked to my friends.

I love this place. They have seriously incredible and unique sandwiches and an always-changing plethora of baked goods. I go there at least once a week for lunch. Plus, if you are looking for a gift or need a custom order, they’ve got you covered. There is lovely and open garden on the side for warm-weather enjoyment and the whole place is decorated adorably. From what I know, the owners are long-time friends that always dreamed of having their own store, and it shows in the quality and love of their food. They also have soups, salads, and tons of grab-and-go treats. I highly recommend trying it out. It is exactly what the area needed.
