While I am sure these people have a following I was far far far from impressed. I have been to other trainers before but this place(in my own personal experience) was the most unprofessional one I have ever found. Let me explain to you why. #1 Don’t bother getting the GroupOn. You will be treated like it. Trust me. You would THINK any person who takes business 101 knows to GAIN business you need to GAIN customers. No, you get treated like you bought it for the price you did. Which is HORRIBLE. You don’t get anywhere close to the same attention you get if you pay full price. Then DONT offer a GroupOn folks! #2 In all my years I have NEVER had SUCH difficulty making an appointment for anything. I had to call. I had to follow up. I had to be persistent. If you know anything about business you know that this isn’t how you promote a new business. Especially one that is a luxury and not a necessity. #3 When I DID get an appointment(and again it was a struggle and that is after I was asked«wait who are you? how do I know you» — are you kidding me guy?) I felt like I was barely being watched. I wont mention which trainer. Looking out the window, looking at the phone, looking every where other than where he should have been. It is actually quite pathetic. #4 I purposely used bad form in some of my exercises for a minute to see if I would be corrected and what a shocker … no I was not. People can get REALLY hurt. That is what happens when your trainer isn’t paying attention. #5 I got a no show from the trainer. No call. No text. I sat there like a jerk. Until I reached out. I got a half ass reason why and NO apology and NO follow up appointment. I had to chase that person down for another session. VERY unacceptable VERY unprofessional VERY immature. FAR from a professional atmosphere. So needless to say I would never in a million years recommend this place. To me personally this is just a group of ex equinox employees who didn’t want to work for someone else. They trash talk the place all the time(not that I care bc I don’t go there, I just find it incredibly unprofessional and immature). There are SO many great trainers in Westchester. Save yourself and your money and go somewhere else. This place is a complete waste of money, time and energy.

Rob is a really awesome personal trainer and I would HIGHLY recommend him and his facility, «burn», to anyone who is looking to improve their lives or has any sort of goals they want to accomplish fitness-wise! Since I’ve been training with him it’s very easy to tell he’s extremely knowledgable about not only training, but diet, supplements, and different types of exercise like yoga, tai chi, etc. Rob is great about making sure you execute proper form, while also motivating you to give it everything you got plus a little more, so you get the most out of your training, and so you don’t get injured. Rob is just an all around great guy and you can tell he actually cares about you achieving your goals. The actual facility is very very nice. It’s in a great location, it’s extremely clean, it’s very comfortable, has a great vibe and atmosphere, there’s no lines to wait for machines like there is at the gym, and there is a variety of exercise machines. And most importantly, Rob has delivered results and helped me achieve my own personal fitness goals that I don’t think I would have been able to achieve without him, and he continues to help me. I can tell he is passionate about helping me not just to get a great workout, but live a better lifestyle.
