What a great option for fast Chinese. We enjoyed that everything – szechuan beef and veg Lo mein – had a lot of fresh vegetables. Restaurant is clean, too.

The lady who took my order was very friendly and the dine in area was very clean. I ordered the Hunan chicken and cheese wontons and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this place.

During our road trip vacation (Sun evening), we were looking for a chinese takeout place but they were mostly closed throughout July 4th weekend!!! We were lucky to find this gem of a restaurant. :)
It’s located in a newish shopping, off the main highway, nearby JMU. We called in our order and the food was ready in 15 min! It’s also conveniently next to Starbucks, Jimmy John’s, and a pizza place.
We were really happy and satisfied with our dinner! :P this place deserves more than 3 stars (8 reviews that it has today). Thank you Asian City ^_^

Thai was pleasantly different, maybe a family recipe /​a delight , stop and as well as get a pleasing greeting. I was passing through town& a win. Check it out & plan on a square meal

Don’t be deceived by this hole-​in-​the-​wall. This place produces excellent large servings of delicious Chinese/​Thai food. We had Habachi shrimp, steamed dumplings, and Mango Tango. The shrimp and dumplings were to die for. The dumplings could make an entire dinner for $ 5.55. The mango tango wasn’t as spicy as I had hoped but I ordered it on a whim, having no idea what it would be like. I’m heading there for lunch tomorrow for the $ 5.55 lunch special and I think I’ll have curry shrimp.

Best Chinese take out in Harrisonburg! Always call them and they usually have my address and order saved. Very speedy delivery. They always throw in a random soda. Their crab cheese wontons are soooo perfect. Their egg rolls and general toss chicken is yummy. Chicken is cut a little large but other than that it’s very good and affordable!

I travel from Nashville to NY frequently using the I-​81 corridor. I plan my trip north to land here for lunch every time. One reason: Chicken Chow Fun. Good luck finding that in the south, not gonna happen. Asian comfort food. After the meal there is a Starbucks two doors down for the next leg of the trip north…
OH, and we also will stop on the way back if only to get to go for chow fun in Nashville…

Not even 1 star!!! Food was delivered 45 minutes after the guaranteed timeframe. It was cold and fried wontons were soggy. Called and asked if they could remake the food and I’d go pick it up myself. They hung up on me!

Do not be deceived by appearances, lack of atmosphere or plastic cutlery. Asian City Restaurant can hold its own and then some, competing in terms of quality and freshness of its diverse menu with the finest big-​city table-​clothed Asian venues.
Our whole party loved our lunch selections. We’d definitely come back if/​when again in Harrisonburg.

One of the better Chinese restaurant experiences I’ve had in Harrisonburg recently. The steamed dumplings were a delight. Lo mein and szechuan beef were on point. Definitely will throw this spot into the takeout rotation!
