Starbucks

I LOVE Starbucks! Most of the time I use the Starbucks app so that I don’t have to wait. I usually enjoy my coffee here. Most of the baristas will say «hello» or «have a nice day.» I don’t need much more from someone I’m going to see for 2 seconds. Sometimes I’ve gotten a barista that I’ll say «thank you» to and they ignore me, but I guess they just don’t care about their job all that much. Most of the baristas are very friendly though and make your drink right.

Sloppy preparation and presentation of Drinks. Took 3 times to make it and still was not right. Also, ran out of tea so we only get half of the other drink. Very disappointed in this location.

I love this Starbucks! Even though it’s right next to JMU and they are usually very busy, the baristas are never rude, rushed, or seem bothered. They always get my order right and last time they even spelled my name correctly!!!

ugh. frat house level of cleanliness. Baristas look and act like they wish they were still at home in bed. Sloppiest bar top I’ve ever seen in a Starbucks (milk and caramel, dirty spoons and soiled wash rags). The spoons and rags will all be USED to create your drink and wipe off the machine and YOUR cup. The employees just simply do not look or act like they would wash their hands. And then they’ll put the lid on your cup with those grimy hands.
Both bathrooms smelled of nothing but urine (not cleaner or air freshener or ANYthing else).
no. just. no.

Since writing my first review, I’ve seen a huge improvement in their service and operations. Friendly faces and fast service when I’m on my way to work. Thanks for fixing it!

Stopped her as I was driving through. The barista that was working at the time moved with ZERO URGENCY. I understand that you have no where to be considering you’re already at work. But, maybe you could light a little bit of a fire under yourself. Hey! Here’s an idea! Drink a cup of coffee for some energy!
Also — I don’t order anything fancy, just an iced coffee. Would be nice if I didn’t have to wait behind specialty coffee drinks that requires the barista to recite a paragraph describing it.

Well — I do feel bad writing this review b/​c this is the «hometown Starbucks» for us plus we had to survive for years without a Starbucks — or anything, really in Harrisonburg, for that matter. But I digress, back to the review.
There is one guy there who is great and when he’s not there, the service sucks — like it did today. They were out of soy milk and out of toilet paper in the women’s bathroom. When my wife told one of the employees about it her reply was «yea, we are out of toilet paper.» Really??? Isn’t that against some regulation somewhere? She really could have given two craps about the dismal state of not having the basic need for a bathroom. The place was a mess today — probably the worst I have seen (and that includes 3^rd world countries). Plus the parking does suck there — whoever thought it was a good idea to put a dinky Starbucks across from a major university and along the busy 81 corridor, must really be re-​thinking that business decision. Parking is horrific — sometimes it’s not even worth the hassle. Think I will find a local coffee shop to support. Sorry Starbucks but I have spent WAY too much $ on you.

One of my daily stops! Drinks are always good and most of the staff is friendly. The dark haired grumpy girl left, I think, and aside from one depressed hipster male, everyone is shiny and happy. Drinks are made quickly and customization is always accepted (another reviewer spoke of eye rolls). 99% of the time the orders are spot on. If not, you can have a drink made correctly quickly. Love it!

The Barista who took my order was nice, but a larger girl with black hair made my drink incorrectly. I checked on the cup to see who’s fault it was and the Barista who had taken my order had clearly marked everything that I asked for.
So I went to the counter, to ask the lady who had made my drink for a spoon, to scoop off the whip cream I hadn’t asked for.
Let me tell you, I didn’t tell her that she had messed up my order, I simply asked for a spoon.
She rolled her eyes stomped off and got a spoon and said «here.»
I said «Thank you» and she ignored me…
The bathrooms were clean and my drink was good, despite not being what I asked for.
I just wish I had been treated a little nicer. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

This Starbucks is in a great location and supercomfortable.
However! The staff here is so loud and distracting. There is a short female employee that is always yelling about various things, and it is so rude. I cannot believe they let her work here.

In need of a wake me up cup of coffee during a long drive along I-​81, I stopped at this Starbuck’s location. It was a typical Starbucks. It had a sizable seating area. It is near the JMU campus. Several of the clients appeared to be students deeply involved in their studies.

This Starbucks is spacious, open late, and generally comfortable.
Plenty of seating for college kids who want to escape from campus AND they are one of the pilot Starbucks’s’s that are testing out Starbucks new line of sodas called «Fizzio».
I literally bought a Fizzio because I wanted to see them use the very high tech and sort of Steampunk looking device. Let me tell you Bs, this is no soda stream. This think is like a little washing machine that carbonates the crap out of your drink and it has a fancy pressure meter that goes up and down like a speedometer.
I got the ginger ale which was really tasty. Next time, if I see one of these, I’m gonna go with the Spiced Root Beer.

stopped here on our way to Springfield, VA to get some coffee… parking lot was little challenge, but we got our caffeine kick which kept us up for the rest of the trip… ordered our drinks and even though it was busy had it within five minutes!

JMU hangout. My grande Pike Place drip coffee, no-​room was decent as always. Way too much for chemical-​tasting frou-​frou drinks that are essentially diabetes in a cup.

A frequent customer — enough so, that a few of the barristas actually know my name. It is pretty standard fare for a Starbucks and have always had a pleasant experience with the staff. My only complaint is the parking. At some times of the day, the lot can be extremely full making a quick stop for a cup of coffee somewhat cumbersome.

Very convenient from Interstate 81. It was great to get my chai latte and get right back on the road. I had a peaches n cream muffin-​very ordinary. Nice staff.

It was Memorial Day, not even 7.30am, and I was in dire need to a strong cup of coffee. The stuff at my hotel would not do. Helpful front desk person directed me to this Starbucks… how can these employees be so chipper so early on a holiday Monday? The dark roast was just what the doctor ordered, and I could finally start my day.

I stopped here on my way to Virginia Tech for that much needed caffeine pick up and the service has always been friendly and fast. This place is quite clean and I love that its right off the highway and convenient to where I can jump right back on without going around this entire town. Good stuff.

I stop in here on my way up to my hometown. It’s like any other Starbucks. Pleasant staff, and clean environment. The drinks are done well.

The drinks have always been great. They need a new manager. The last thing I want is to be served my morning coffee by someone who can not be more annoyed to serve me.
