Lobsta Rollin

Normally, I wouldn’t ever get seafood this far inland. I’m glad I made an exception and tried this place! Had a lobsta roll and tried the lobsta tacos… both were EXCELLENT! It seems a little pricey, but when you stop and think about how much lobster you’re getting it’s worth it! If you haven’t tried them, go the very next chance you get!

Yummy! Soft toasted roll jam packed with delicious lobster. This is the high quality stuff too — no imitation here. We got there on a Saturday at lunch n some things were already sold out… like the Bob Marley, which I was told was made with jerk seasoning. This is definitely a splurge at $ 11 a pop, but you get what you pay for. The guy working was nice and threw in free chips. I’ll definitely be back.

My boyfriend literally has to pry me away from this food truck! How will we ever be able to pay rent due to how many times I visit Lobsta Rollin? The soup is to die for! Hot & delicious every time I stop by. The owner is super friendly & chatty which I don’t mind one bit. They aren’t open as long as I’d like due to the fact sometimes I don’t get off of work in time to head over before they close!

Oh my heavens… I cannot believe I’ve lived in H’burg for a year and was unaware of this place!!! I love seafood and I really love lobster. This place certainly delivers when it comes to lobster!
So let me start out with letting you know it’s a food truck (another plus in my book). So no fancy clothes :) and no plastic bibs because it’s all rolls here.
I came by today after work and was happy to see the Wednesday special was a lobster roll for $ 8.50. I added the chips and soda as well. This was perhaps the best roll I have ever had. It was sweet lobster and that’s all I tasted in an amazing butter grilled roll.
For those who have paid the full price and thought it was too much I will not agree with that. Even at full price that much lobster is a bargain this far from the source.
Keep up the good work Lobsta Rollin!!!

Love the Lobster roll! BIG chunk of lobsters on top of toasted butter bun. Yummy! Try the Blueberry soda as well! I can’t stop smiling

The last time I had a lobster roll was a few years back at a swanky gastropub in DC, so I was pretty stoked to find this in Harrisonburg of all places.
I have to admit, based on my previous lobster roll experience, I was a bit nervous about spending north of $ 10 on one sandwich. Some places really don’t load on the lobster and expect $ 10 – 15 price. But Lobsta Rollin will surprise you! They pile on the lobster. I would guess the regular roll is about 6oz packed into the buttery toasted roll. Talk about bang for your buck!
The owner is super nice and very welcoming. Would definitely like to see them take this show on the road to some food/​beer festivals.

This little tucked away shop is not much to look at but the flavors are outstanding. We ordered the 3.5oz Lobster Rolls, Grilled Cheese & Lobster sandwich, lobster bisque and kickin’ crab chowder. The lobster was tender and flavorful. The chowder had a nice kick to it but the bisque was the highlight here. Do not leave without trying this savory bit of liquid deliciousness. I appreciate the small business feel and quality right outside of the resort area.

We stopped by this food truck on the way back from the Dayton Farmers Market. We got the Lobsta wrap with a cup of Lobsta Bisque. The wrap was full of flavor and plenty of lobster. A definite recommend!

From a New Englander who loves his chowda… get the chowda. Paired with a grilled cheese from the truck next door, you’ve got a great lunch or dinner. Chowda sells out many days so don’t wait.

What a Treat For Lunch!
I picked up a grilled cheese sandwich at Grilled Cheese Mania yesterday and saw Lobsta Rollin in the same lot so I went back today and gave it a try. YESSSSS! I’m glad I did. I was served a delicious lobster roll on a soft yet grilled bun and it was out of this world. Light on the mayo so you could still taste the wonderful fresh lobster flavor, the roll is a real treat. Not what I expected in Harrisonburg, VA, but one of those delightful surprises on a road trip you discover from time to time.
The Cape Cod kettle chips and good ol’ Boston Baked Beans were included and a very nice surprise. Excellent meal here.
