I had a recent repaid to the back bumper and liftgate of my Tesla Model S. I don’t typically go out of my way to provide online reviews, but the professionalism, communication, friendliness, and quality of work from Tony and the Airport Road Auto Body team compelled me to write this one. There were some initial delays (not their fault) getting the right parts in for the repair. Tony followed up diligently and kept me apprised of progress every step of the way. When it came to the work itself, it could not have been a more convenient and painless experience. They are a real example of how a business of any type should be run, to the extent that I would hope people feel the same way after working with me.

Had some work done here and couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome. I was really worked up about somebody messing up my car but let me tell you I brought it to the perfect place. The nice young man named Tony was very professional and pleasant to work with. Car looked brand spankin new when it was done. I can’t wait to get in another accident just so I can get another gift bag.

This is one of the best Body Shops in the greater Hartford area. I have to give them five stars based on their excellent customer service and excellent body work that they did on my 2008 BMW 335i. I dropped off the car with the insurance check and Richard Buck the Manager did his magic. When I picked up the car it was in excellent shape, bumper was repaired to manufacture specs and the car was super clean. I was greet by the Owner Tony and his son Tony Jr and they both thanked me for my business. Oh they even left a nice gift in the front seat for me. Thank you Airport Road Auto Body, if you’re looking for top notch body work and great customer service this is the place to take your car.

Back in February of this year I was involved in an accident. The car had to be towed and I was faced with the decision of where I would want the car repaired. Since I had only had the car a few weeks, I wanted only the very best shop to touch the car and bring it back to its original condition. When dealing with insurance companies, you need to have a «car healthcare advocate». I went to Unilocal and found that Airport Auto had excellent reviews. I pulled the trigger and arranged for the car to get towed to them. From the first phone call until the time I picked up the car, Rich Buck was my advocate. He handled the claims process as if this was his own car, ensuring that the repairs required were going to be done, done right and with only the best original parts. They truly provide exceptional service and did not settle for anything but perfection.
If you ever find yourself needing auto body repair, without a pause, I would recommend Airport Auto.

Just had some auto body work done on my 2014 428i and Airport Auto Body nailed it. Tony and his team provided outstanding customer service; picking me up, dropping me off, working around my schedule. They even detailed my car and left a goody bag in the front seat! This is the cleanest my car has looked since I bought it. And if you need a rental car, there is conveniently a Enterprise right down the road which they offered a ride to.
If I ever need work done on my BMW again, I will absolutely return to Airport Auto Body. They are the only (?) certified BMW auto body shop in CT, and their customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Tony and team.

My experience at Airport Auto Body could have not been any more fantastic. After having my car hit from the front bumper all along the passenger side, I’m am grateful that I selected this body shop to fix my vehicle. The process from calling and setting up and appointment and getting a rental was so smooth and fast. Everyone from the office was great in answering all my questions and concerns. I would recommend this body shop to anyone and everyone. Thank you guys for taking care of my car as well as making my experience with my first car accident so smooth and easy.

About a year ago, I bought a brand new gti. After having it for about a week, someone clipped the rear end requiring a new bumper, rear rim, new fender, and new tail light among a few random parts.
When I picked it up, the car looked great. They derailed it inside and out and honestly did a better job than Crowley VW did when I purchased it. They also went above and beyond for me and personally spoke to my insurance and pushed for them to pay for oem parts rather than aftermarket. I was so happy that they took this into their own hands. It shows how much they care, as they told me they refuse to fix a car incorrectly, and that includes putting parts that are anything but from the oem car manufacturer.
On top of that, I asked if it was possible for them to get my windows tinted by tint masters across the street, who have now done three of my cars. They do great work too. Airport auto body said no problem at all and even worked with tint masters to get me a good deal. They brought it over, got it tinted, brought it back and cleaned it again for me and I picked it up the next day.
They even through in a really nice cooler bag that I still use at the beach, among of few random things inside.
Overall extremely satisfied. Bringing my car here again to get a detailing before the winter.

This is the place to go when you need to get professional work done to your car. I had my X5 repaired here. It was the ONLY BMW certified auto repair shop in Hartford. The car looked amazing! They even buffered the fine scratches for free, AND gave my baby a wash inside out! BEST repair shop in town!

Yes! Would absolutely recommend! Went in without an appointment and was greeted right away by Tony junior who couldn’t have been nicer. I went in from a recommendation from my dealer to get a quote and schedule a time to get a small chip filled in on my MINI Cooper Hardtop. I was told that it could get done right away in a few minutes and would be on the house. They touched up my chip, filled in a scratch I didn’t even know existed, AND gave me a free bottle of touch up paint in case I come across any more small dings in the future. My husband and I were even given a tour of the facility while we were waiting. Everyone was so nice and the place was extremely professional. I will definitely be returning for future needs!

Since the transport company delivered my fairly new luxury suv to me with a crushed roof, I had to pay ANOTHER visit to see Tony Sr and now, his amazing son Tony Jr. Father and son did an amazing job, on what I thought would never be repaired to my 100% liking. This fix was not easy. The removal of damaged dual glass moonroof panels, windshield, the list goes on and on. I was told right from the beginning it was going to take a few weeks or more to repair my vehicle, but it would be perfect. Well I picked up my better than new vehicle today. It actual looked better than the day I picked it up at the dealership. It even had a cooler filled with golf balls sun block etc. Driving my 40 mile trip home I must have looked like a freak to other drivers. I was smiling from ear to ear. Thanks guys. You truly are the best body shop there is.

These guys are awesome. I had a warranty rust repair through the Volkswagen dealership – they sent me to Airport Road because they’re a certified VW collision repair facility. Despite the fact that they weren’t making a lot of money on the repair, they treated me like a good friend. The work was done very quickly (2 days in their busy season), it looked fabulous, and they detailed the entire car. To top it all off, there was a nice goody bag in the car when we picked it up. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. We will definitely use them again.

I must say this hands down the best body shop I’ve been to on the east coast. Tony Jr is one awesome guy!!! Friendly! Helpful!!! And AHHHMAZING with his work on my baby London, she’s back there again, MINI of America is having him fix her rust issues that fall under their rust warranty. And having him fix my bumper that some tool bag hit while at work. I’ll miss her but I know she’s in excellent hands!!! Can’t wait to see her after tony has made her beautiful again! Also, whomever he uses to fix dents, FIVE thumbs up!!! His man did paintless dent removal of this horrific long dented crease that went down the entire passenger side and when I got her back you couldn’t see any marks from the dent that had been there! Thank you and will see you in a few weeks to pick my baby up!!!

We’ve been to Airport Autobody a few times, due to a collision with another car, and a deer that ran into the side of my 4Runner. Both repairs were EXCELLENT! This shop repairs a lot of top-​of-​the-​line vehicles, but will treat your Chevy or Hyundai just as nice! Super service (they don’t mind if you call them a million times) as well. I don;t like to bring my cars to just anybody. Dealing with Tony, Tony, Rich & the crew was a fantastic experience, although I hope I don;t have to see them again!

This place is wonderful! Okay context: I bought my first car ever last October, a 2010 VW Beetle. In February another driver ran a stop sign and hit me tearing the whole back of my car off! The lights were hanging by wires and it was a mess. I called Hartford Volkswagen and they recommended Airport Road Autobody. They towed my car for me within like 40 minutes of calling them. They talked me through handling the other drivers’ insurance company and they even contacted the company for me when they knew there would be other expenses. They handled everything! And they were so patient with me and my questions answering everything calmly.
Finally during the final checkup they notice that my back headlights weren’t working. It didn’t have to do with the accident but they fixed it anyway and only charged me the minimum labor charge and the cost of a lightbulb.
When I got my car back there was even a little gift bag inside as a thank you with a tote, a water bottle, and little candies. I love this place and I recommend them to everyone I know!

I had the opportunity to stop by and meet the owners Tony Sr. Tony Jr. Rich in the front office & Tracy one of the painters. This place and these men are the real deal, no holes barred. I could have stayed there for hours, just shooting the s*** .

I had to fix a deep scratch courtesy of my neighbor who ran into my parked 3 series. I work in Hartford, CT but I live in Northern New Jersey. The closest certified BMW auto body shop is only open on the weekdays, effectively eliminating any chance of convenience for me. This is where Airport Road Auto Body stepped in and stepped up.

Tony JR took care of me when I walked in. He originally quoted me $ 700 to do the job but worked with me and was able to reduce it down to $ 400 — with the guarantee that, when my lease is up, BMW wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. So no need to worry about charges when I return it and peace of mind.
Understanding that my insurance was not covering the damages, he knew that I wouldn’t have a car rental while I waited for the repairs. Tony JR offered to give me a ride to work after I drop off the vehicle in the AM.

My car was ready the next day in the evening. What’s more! They actually cleaned my car inside/​out and left me a goodies bag (golf balls, water bottle, etc.).
A+ service — I’m sure the body shops in NJ aren’t nearly as courteous and professional. Way to go, guys! And thanks Tony!
