I can’t help but use the same line Michele used in her review…“This place is stupid!” Really, don’t waste your time or your money. Throughout my entire dinner I couldn’t help but wonder if SandraLee from the Food Network was in the kitchen because I felt everything was semi-homemade. It was ridiculous. The Massa do Diablo had the toughest most over cooked seafood in it I’ve ever experienced and the pasta was clearly beyond al dente. Everything appeared to be parboiled and then thrown in some boiling water for some heat and then sauced on the plate. It was a joke. My date ordered the filet mignon with the roast mushroom demi which tasted like something that came out of a can and the mashed potatoes tasted like a Lipton recipe. The wine list was sub par. So much in fact, that I ordered a martini even though I really wanted a glass of wine. When I received the martini, it was disgusting, I sent it back and asked for an iced tea. Clearly I won’t be back. What this restaurant has ambiance; it lacks severely in culinary ability.

We went there on Friday for a dinner and for $ 30 a plate I expect much better food. For appetizer, we had calamari and it was not the best I would give it a B-. For entry my husband had scallops and they were sandy and that it the worst feeling on earth when you feel sand on your teeth. I had halibut and it was not fresh at all. Manager offered a free drink for my husband but he didn’t want anything from them we were disappointed. There was no live band. Very loud place. So I don’t think I will go back.
