Sad to see this store decline as I hate buying from Walmart. For years Sullivan’s had the best meat around, but they are showing an increased amount of prepack items. The other problem has become that a full 35 — 40% of their specials are out of stock two days after they release their ad and while they provide a rain check, you can go back for the next month and still not find the item. When it is restocked the rain check has expired. Today out of 5 ad items desired, only one was available. They don’t seem to be having much turn over on fresh products as expiration or sell by dates are usually within a day or two from purchase. Sad to see Walmart get all sorts of benefits from the city and then pay minimum wage and drive out many other stores in a small town who supported the community for years. I guess that is ‘progress’ managed by a City Council who has no concept of how to grow a town

Listen here is the deal. If you want fresh produce that won’t rot before you bring it home or if you want quality meat for a decent price. Go here. Seriously. Sure it maybe a tad more expensive but I’ll pay just to stay out of walmart and not to deal with the circus that goes on there. Real people, reasonable prices and a kick ass meat section = Sullivans.

Good food, decent prices. It may be a tad bit more expensive than Wal-Mart, but it has more variety, a nicer environment, 4⁄5 times its quicker. Service is helpful, been coming here for years, and never go wrong.
