One of the few places that serves goat in the area. It’s actually what brought me to the restaurant. Not only do they serve birria(goat) but they do it better than everyone else on the south side. I definitely recommend dining in for the killer salsas they serve with your meal. The staff was super friendly and attentive, all around a splendid experience. Oh, did I mention the house made tortillas? If you haven’t had freshly made tortillas you’re failing at life, they are that good.

I love the birria tacos… and the fact that they give you so many different sauces to try… I think their appearance should be fix… I would have never gone inside if it wasnt for family members that took me there.

The food gets 4 stars from me, the overall establishment gets 3. I love their tacos and the gringas, I haven’t tried anything else here. If you’re in a hurry, there’s a drive thru. If you sit down they give you free chips and salsa de molcajete and that other regular salsa. The tortillas for the tacos are the small ones, which I prefer, and when dining in they give you a chile torreado or whatever its called, grilled onions, and radishes. The only thing I don’t like is they have a sign that says $ 5 dollar taco dinners which is a lie. They charge you whatever they feel like charging that day. Cash only!

This place owes stars. If I could get a negative star review I would. Every time I come here I’m treated very rudely, especially when I don’t speak Spanish. They automatically speak to you in Spanish in the drive through and if you don’t return in Spanish, they are very short and rude. Just a few minutes ago I went there for their $ 5 taco dinner meal. The only reason I went is because Señor Salsa is having repairs and they are closed. Long story short, The meal wasn’t $ 5 it was $ 7. False advertisement. I got a VEGETARIAN taco meal? And I specifically asked for avocado, sour cream, and cheese. I got none of that. Just cilantro, beans, and a tiny bit of tomato. What was I paying $ 7 for again? I told them about their rude, cold service, I demanded money back, and I will NEVER go there again. Neither will my friends\family. I’m telling everyone about this. The inside, I had only used the drive-thru before, is DISGUSTING. The floors are sticky and nasty and there was dirt on the walls. How does that happen!!! Never. Ever. Ever. Again.

This place, is my place. I’m the black guy who they smile at because they know that when I come to the drive through that I don’t understand one ounce of Spanish but am always going to order the steak, chicken, and if I’m feeling good goat tacos w/a lime Jarritos. They only take cash so don’t go in there without enough to go back and order more tacos after you’ve realized that you aren’t done after the 5 that you’ve had already. I’ve lived in the area all my life and am glad to see the place being put to better use than the previous pizza shop. The place was originally a greek restaurant with gyro’s that put PJ’s(the gyro place across the street) to shame. The service is always friendly and… well just go. :)

I have always enjoyed Birrieria. Usually I get the steak tacos. Always fresh and delicious. Served with ice cold horchetta and you cant go wrong. The green salsa is excellent. Rice and beans a must.

I had to make a stop in Harvey for work. It was mid afternoon and I hadn’t eaten lunch. I needed a quick fix of calories and Birreria Y Taqueria Arandas #2 came up like a mirage on the horizon. I am surprised that I have a first to review here. Normally Mexican taquierias do not escape the Unilocal hordes no matter how out of the way they are. Harvey is a great place. Its the birthplace of Vegas legend Tom Dreesan. And this place is a few blocks down from the Skybox and Club O strip clubs. And the Little Guys home entertainment store used to be located up the street but they’ve since moved. I had to do a little research on the Internet, so I probably won’t be invited to a meeting of the Unilocal Spanish club. But from what I could glean, a «birreria» serves«birria» which is a goat stew. I notice the birria on the menu but I wasn’t in an adventurous mood so I partook of the«taqueria» offerings and ordered some tacos. The place looks like its been here a while. There are about ten tables. The steak tacos were good and came to $ 6 for three of them plus a drink. They use small tortillas but are generous with meat and toppings. One day I’m going to be adventurous and come back for the birria.
