You won’t find many Mexican restaurants in the south suburbs that can compete with Jorge Fajitas. If you’re looking for fast food, then this isn’t the place for you. This restaurant is intended for a quality dining experience. There’s even a full bar that consists of a wide variety of Tequilas, and other joys of life. The waitress staff for the most part is very pleasant, but I guess it’s hard not to be when the owner is present on a daily basis. The owner is a very nice guy who seems to pride himself on the quality of the restaurant. Jorge Fajitas menu is more than fulfilling. Options galore! For breakfast I recommend the broccoli omelet w/Mexican cheese, which comes with great potatoes. For lunch try the chicken Quesadillas, which are to die for. Also every order comes with complimentary chips and salsa. On the down side, the washroom is disgusting, and it’s not because it isn’t cleaned periodically — it needs to be remodeled. Plain and simple. Like I read in another review, I do believe Dana is a former employee so take what you will from her«experience.»

This place is disgusting. They are using some type of meat & trying to pass it off as beef. It has the texture of ground turkey & is seasoned with Italian seasoning. Really… This is a Mexican restaurant not Italian. The owner is a real A hole. Instead of trying to rectify the problem he was rude & disrespectful. This place was much better when it was Los Fajitas & what type of Mexican restaurant doesn’t sell Churros. Yuk worst place I’ve ever been to. The lady with the long excellent review works there. Maybe the slimy owner paid her to post that lie

This place used to be called Las Fajitas… I was never there under the previous ownership, but the name has recently changed. I tried this place when I was in the area and everything was so great, I went back twice within two weeks! The only complaint I had at the time was that it was hard to get there from the southwest suburbs because of the construction on the 159th street bridge. Now that that nightmare is over, I can’t think of anything stopping me from going back. First of all, the service was absolutely great. The servers are obviously very experienced, friendly, and familiar with everything on the menu. The server I had gave me some great recommendations and was very attentive. The ambiance is very nice, as well. The inside looks like a typical south side Mexican restaurant. Very unpretentious, but clean and comfortable. There are a couple of new TV’s…not that I was there to watch anything, but I guess it’s nice for those that are looking to watch a game while sitting at the bar. Most importantly… the food was fantastic. The complimentary chips and salsa were sooo tasty. The fish tacos were AMAZING. I don’t like my fish tacos made with fried fish. Alot of times, this means I get minced up pieces of bland unidentifiable fish slapped on taco shells. Not here. I got two whole fillets of tilapia that were seasoned just right. There was enough with the two tacos and the sides of beans and rice to be 3 meals. And I’m a big eater… The burritos are awesome. The tacos are amazing. The breakfast burritos are some of the best I’ve ever had. All in all, this was a great experience. I can’t wait to come back to the suburbs to be able to get my fix. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody… even my pickiest friends and family members.
