Ditali’s(Manhattan) is one of my «go to» «not cooking» favorites. No «pre fab/flash frozen» dough/pie crust here.

Pretty bland pizza, and the Philly sub I ordered was surprisingly small. The fries and and garlic bread were also bland. I guess the best way to describe their food is pretty good but forgettable. I give it three stars because the restaurant is well ran and the service is decent enough.

Let me start by saying that I haven’t been in about 6 months. But this spot has some pretty decent inexpensive Italian food. They also deliver if you’re close enough which is nice. They’ve moved locations(just down the street) within the past couple of years and their new location is really open and nice. I’ve never seen it really busy. Their specialty pizzas are your best bet.

Yum. Try the Mediterranean pizza. Delish! Very family oriented, no alcohol sales but the games on and the pizza is good

I have had the most difficult time finding a decent pizza on the West Bank. My husband and I were craving Italian so we decided to give this place a shot. The pizza was A+ Better than anything else that I have tried on this side of the river. Our server was excellent. I wish that I could remember her name. My husband ordered a pasta dish that wasn’t bad either. I would give it a B. He also enjoyed a delicious salad with cranberries and Blue Cheese. My only complaint about this place is the ambience. It feels like something similar to a cheap cafeteria. I imagine that we will be ordering pizza to go from this place in the near future.

The food was good but they were so cheap on the chicken… I paid $ 12.99 for basically pasta and no meat(pasta Ditali). Not worth the money in my opinion.

I worked across the street from this restaurant for 4 years and mostly ordered takeout, but recently went and sat down for lunch. I really enjoyed the food. Their chicken Parmesan sandwich is super good. It has just the right amount of sauce and the chicken is crispy. I also like their fries; they are thinner and crispier, which is something I don’t see a lot of anymore and kind of liked. My friend and I split the crab cakes and a small chicken pizza. The crab cakes came with fettuccine and it was creamy and delicious. The pizza was AWESOME. Spicy, and the cheese was gooey and melted to perfection. Our service wasn’t spectacular, but it wasn’t terrible. We were the only table in there and had to flag down our waitress twice. She was nice though and even split our checks, which some servers get annoyed about. All in all, I would give this place a shot. It’s definitely not your typical pizza joint.

When I went there the woman who took my order acted like she was doing me a favor serving me. Haven’t been back since.

I was looking for an Italian restaurant because my friend wanted to eat a pizza and we found Ditali’s(not too far from the AMC theater!). It was very good! I had the soup of the day a delicious tomato soup that was spicy and had a nice roasted flavor to it, and also ordered the Italian panini. I will be back!

Good food, great service. I recently had the eggplant parmigiana and it was very tasty. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo as an appetizer and it was also very good although i thought there should have been a little more in the bowl. My big drawback to this place is the location of the TV’s. There are only two TV’s in the entire place and they are in the uncomfortable front section. If there were TV’s in the back with the booth’s i would be there more often to watch games. When a game is on, I go to TGI Fridays or Chili’s but i prefer the food at Ditali’s. In the end, TV wins out on game day.
