I’m pretty picky when it comes to bubble milk teas. I really dislike the powdered artificial milk teas. This place uses real tea. Not too sweet, just perfect. We had the jasmine milk tea and the Thai tea. Both were excellent. Tapioca balls r of a good consistency, just the right amount of chewiness and sweetness. Definitely would recommend this place!

Best bubble tea ever. My favorite flavors are green tea latte, taro, and green apple. Their tapioca is cooked properly unlike others. It’s not too soft or not to hard. If you don’t like tapioca, lychee is a great alternative for fruity drinks. Food is pretty good too. I love how the rice dishes come with an egg roll and a fried egg yum!

Frosty’s Caffe has two locations, one on the Westbank and another on the Eastbank on Cleary Ave. Aaron M. and I went to this location after having dim sum at Panda King Fine Dining. All of the smoothies are delicious and the star on the menu notes the drinks are made with fresh fruit. Their drinks aren’t quite as good as what you could find in San Francisco or New York, but I believe both Frosty’s Caffe locations serve the best in the area. I’ve also had their food, but you can find better Vietnamese cuisine elsewhere.

Thank god I live so near here. This is my favorite bubble tea place in all of NOLA no doubt. The smoothies are all mixed very well with no lumps or random sips of just pure sugar. I would suggest you get any bubble tea flavor from here. They are all good.

Best boba tea in the city! Service is always quick & the boba teas are all delicious. I recommend the mango, Thai tea BLENDED or mango/peach flavors. The tapioca pearls are always a refreshing chewy. They also serve American & yummy Vietnamese dishes. Will have to give them a try next time.

They were about to close the first time we went there. We ordered the 32 oz tapioca smoothie. The texture was chalky but we decided to return a second time to see whether it was the situation or just the smoothie itself. We returned and not only was the texture the same, they barely gave us any tapioca for a 32 oz($ 7 drink). We will not be visiting again. Maybe the other smoothies are good but I will not recommend the taro.

Every time I visit, I always have to stop by Frosty’s before I go home. Best tapioca in Nola. Drinks are always fresh and consistent. The tapioca pearls are always soft and on point. The staffs are friendly. A must try place. My favorites are avocado, peach mango, strawberry mango and watermelon.

Love it here! When I’m in the mood for something fruity I usually go for a strawberry-mango w/tapioca OR the pomegranate jasmine tea w/tapioca & jelly. My other favorites would be the vanilla latte w/coffee jelly OR rocky w/tap(which is like cookies n cream). THEIRTAPIOCAISPERFECT… which is why everything I get is with tap. Their crispy chicken salad is what I always get. It’s good!

After going to the Clearly Ave. Frosty’s Café I tried this one on the West bank specifically for the boba tea smoothie. Happy to say this place is just as good if not a tiny bit better. Some options aren’t included here that the other location has like bubblegum but its still good for fresh fruit smoothies.

I’ve heard good reviews about this place. Finally, i got a chance to try them out eventhough the location is so close to my house but i did it this time! I’ve been here a couple of time. First time, I got avocado with tapioca ball and I didn’t care for it. I decided to give them another try and was not disappointed second time I got moccha with tapioca ball and it was REALLYGOOD! I love it! Will definitly coming back to explore variety of their drinks.

BEGGINGTORETURN Begging to return to try their hot meals. While sipping on our taro smoothie, we couldn’t stop noticing that they were fulfilling more cooked meals than smoothies or milk teas. A customer in the back corner of the shop was guarding her fried shrimp meal as if it was her last. When she left, not a crumb left on the table. I have never seen someone enjoy her meal as much as she did. A constant flow of regular customers… lot of it is for takeout. Pearl bobas are very soft and fresh. Smoothie itself lacks depth in color and a bit too powdery for my preference. Tip: CASHONLY

This place is way much better than the one on Veterans. Vanilla latte and milk tea are always consistently good and are my absolutely favorites. The rocky is great as well. I am not a fan of their avocado or green tea smoothies though. They just don’t tastes amazing good like the other two, even though all of them are my favorite flavors ever. Service is always fast and great!

Hazelnut with coffee jelly and boba is the way to go! I’m from New Hampshire but every time I come down to Louisiana to visit family, I need to get on per day, haha. The place is very clean and there’s good atmosphere. Definitely not a place for a gourmet dinner but a great quick stop for a snack or meal. Do not hesitate to come here people!

Hazelnut with coffee jelly + eggrolls! All day every day PLEASE! If it wasn’t so pricey I’d get this combination every other day but it adds up so fast! I’d leave spending $ 20 on one meal easy. Of course that including tip haha I was never a fan of the vietnamese rice dishes but the buffalo wings and Chicken Wrap is pretty good!

Love love loveeeee this place! I used to go here all the time after school before I moved away for college. Every time I’m in town, I always come by for some bubble tea! This place is also convenient because I live right next to it(thank goodness!). I ALWAYS get the bubble tea here, and it always tastes awesome(my all-time favs: avocado, papaya with green jelly, and taro with lychee jelly). The tapioca here is like the perfect texture, I swear, and the perfect sweetness too. And there is such a huge variety of flavors! They also sell your typical café food I suppose and also some Vietnamese dishes. I’ve only eaten the food here a few times, but still, everything I’ve ordered is seriously YUM.

The only place I go to to get a nice cup of bubble tea. I absolutely am in love with the Watermelon and Thai Tea out in this place. The food I’ve had once or twice and it’s pretty okie. My mom actually works out in the kitchen here and when I am craving a cup of bubble tea I can just give her a quick call. A plus for me is having a mom who works here, she picks up on stuff too cook at home hehe. I sometimes come out to visit her and hang out with the workers. I know their fruit drinks are fresh and you can definitely taste it compared to others. The owners from the one out in Metairie are NOT the same just so people should know. I’ve had it once and never ever again. This is the only place I go to besides Honeydeux down on Magazine. But I still love the fruit slushies here more.

As far as getting good tapioca in NOLA, Frosty’s is as good as it gets! You get a large variety, and the drinks are always made with fresh fruits, not powders like other places. The avocado tapioca is probably the best here, even though I’m not a big fan of avocado. I usually get either the Thai tea or one of the other fruity drinks(Strawberry mango, mango peach, etc.) with tapioca and jelly. The drinks here are always refreshing, and the quality of the drinks are still great even though the bubble tea craze has long gone. Only downfall? Gets pretty darn pricey. It was almost 6 bucks getting a Mango Peach with tapioca and mango jelly.
