I always walk on this street on my way to Starbucks and noticed it was lacking a good place for breakfast so I was pretty happy when they started building this place. I finally had the opportunity to stop by Sunday morning and have a bagel. The décor is really simple and clean, but I wish they would put their bagel signs a little larger, or closer to the front. I noticed myself squinting trying to see what bagels they still had left and didn’t see a place on the menu where they were listed. We both chose the wheat bagels, one with regular cream cheese and the other with veggie. The bagels themselves were a good size and average in taste/quality. One thing that was kind of weird to me is when I was ordering our food, I ordered one bagel and the guy walked away and started making it before I could order the other. Luckily another employee was standing there and stepped in when I said I wasn’t finished ordering. It seems like they were a little disorganized back there, but I’m hoping the kinks will be sorted out by my next visit.

My go to spot for breakfast and lunch, I love their french toast and their home fries are to die for. I got a chicken parm sandwich the other day for lunch and it was amazing with the freshest cheeses(mozzarella was amazing). Not only is the food great but its always clean and the food is consistently good. Its great to have a place like this the are where I work, will definitely come back! Highly recommend this place!

We have been wanting to come here for a long time since we always pass in front of it. We ordered 2 coffees and a jersey s best breakfast sandwich(egg bacon American cheese sautéed onion). It sticks that they close at 4 because it can be a nice hang out spot. They do not have any flavored coffees just regular American. Pretty nice place. Will come back!

My second visit was better than my first but I am still not overly impressed. I ordered a garden veggie sandwich on a whole wheat everything with no cheese. You would think since I asked for no cheese they would have reduced the price a little, but no. So I would say it was a bit pricey for $ 6. Also, they forgot to put the avocado on and the bagel was small. I personally thought the bagel was the perfect size for me but was too small for the price tag of the sandwich which only included a little bit of tomatoes, mushrooms, and scallions. Overall, though, the sandwich was very tasty but I know, if there is a next time, to just order a plain egg sandwich and save my money with the«signature breakfast sandwiches»

I work near by and have anticipated the opening of this bagel store. We went on the morning it opened and it was limited but had some nice offerings. The bagels are good and during the week the service is friendly and nice. I’ve gone back a few times for quick grab items. However I went on a Sat morning to grab some bagels for breakfast at home(I find their sandwich pricing a bit high). Anyway I stopped in around 8 am there were two people in line ahead of me finishing up and a woman sitting eating a plate of eggs etc. another guy came in after me. I would hardly call it busy. I mention this because the woman who I’ve never seen that was helping at the counter seemed to be rushing everything(and making mistakes in the process). She was a bit curt and not friendly at all. I get things may have been going wrong but don’t take it out on your customers. I think I’ll stick to going out of my way and getting bagels and breakfast items from the place in Carlstadt. Sorry I really had high hopes for this place.

**Update 1÷10÷16 — went back a second time and the bagels are consistently still delicious!** Tried out the new bagel place in town this morning… allow me to disclaim that in my older age I’ve become a skeptic when it comes to good bagels. Our go-to bagel place is normally Goldberg’s, but with this place right in town, I think WEFOUND A NEWFAVORITE! First things first, the Bagel Shop is brightly decorated, and clean. It’s welcoming to any hungry patron walking in the door, with the aroma of fresh baked bagels luring you in, as you open the door. Second thing — their menus consists of variety. I have a picky non-bagel-eating-child so the fact that I could order pancakes to go was a plus! Their sandwich menu also looks good, with my hubs already eyeing the Terrace with prosciutto, fresh mozz, roasted red peppers and balsamic on focaccia… hmmmmmm…for lunch today perhaps… But I digress, back to the bagels. We ordered a sausage, egg and cheddar on whole wheat, lox spread on everything, and a plain(for my bagel-loving-child) plus the pancakes to go! All bagels were quite good, comparable to Goldberg’s in consistency and flavor. My idea of a perfect bagel is just an ever so slightly crusty outside with a soft but hearty inside that is the perfect balance of texture and requires the right amount of chew. I probably didn’t articulate that well, but hopefully you catch my drift! I like to support our local small businesses and hope that you give this place a try when you’re passing through, dropping your kids off at Tae Kwon Do etc.
