Stuckey’s Pecan Shoppe

«Clean Restrooms» MY ASS!!! If I can choose less than one star I would! The whole store was dirty and smelly! Go somewhere else!!!

We stopped here for gas on our way to Florida, I haven’t been in a Stuckey’s since I was a little girl they are a rare find in Texas and honestly i’m not sure there are any left in Texas. The station is really convenient, it has plenty of gas pumps and is well lit. Talk about nostalgia walking in, this place is old. It’s clean and has everything you might need. The bathroom as pointed out in another review needs a major remodel, it was clean but the way it’s made you can get stuck in a stall waiting for someone to get a paper towel. With that being said I headed over to get a pecan roll and you would think they would be priced higher than they are. For nostalgia I would would stop again plus the gas was priced right and the attendants inside were so nice to every customer that came in,

Great place to get gas people are very friendly but the bathrooms lack a lot to be desired –dark, dirty, and stinky.

Since I moved to FL from MS in 1997, I have made numerous, numerous stops here. It’s located right at the corner where I-​59 meets Highway 80. Very convenient location.
Plenty of pumps and it’s well lit at night. The store is old… really old… but they have the basics you may be needing like drinks, sodas, snacks, etc. They even sell cheesy touristy gifts like t-​shirts, shot glasses, ashtrays, thimbles, etc. with the word «Mississippi» across the items. So, if for some odd reason, you need to purchase a gift for someone from MS, you can find said cheesy item here. Oh… and let’s not forget the ever popular Stuckey’s Pecan Logs.
I stop here for two reasons: Gas and bathrooms. The gas is generally the cheapest you’ll find in the area. So if you need to fill up before hitting i-​59, then this is the place to do it. The bathrooms are old and need a make-​over, but they are clean for the most part and I have no real complaints.

This convenience store and gas station is pretty nice for this area. The place is always very well lit, so you feel reasonably safe, it’s in a great convenient location just off the interstate, and they typically offer the lowest gas prices in the area.
The convenience store portion of it offers more than the typical store… everything from $ 3 T-​shirts, to pralines, snacks, etc. This is a pretty decent place to stop.
